Spoilers for XO, Kitty ahead.
To all fans of Netflix's To All The Boys I Loved Before and the classic rom-com franchise that followed, we have good news. XO, Kitty, the spin-off exploring Lara Jean's sister Kitty's own journey through life and romance, is back for a second season.
The first instalment, released in 2023, saw Kitty start school in Seoul as a way to connect with her late mother and be with her long distance boyfriend, Dae. But the path to true love never does run smooth, and we see Kitty grapple with romance, friendship and her family legacy in the season 1.
The explosive Netflix series is coming to an end.

Now the show is back for season 2, with huge news. To All The Boys heart throb Noah Centineo will be making an appearance. “Stepping back into the To All the Boys universe was a true joy, and I hope our incredible audience enjoys seeing Peter again as much as I did,” he has said.
“Working with Anna again was amazing," Noah added. “She’s so wonderfully talented, and her work ethic shows in every scene.”
Here's everything else we know about XO, Kitty season 2.
What is XO, Kitty season 2 about?
Netflix's synopsis for the new series reads as follows: "Teen matchmaker Kitty Song Covey is back in Seoul for a new semester at KISS. She's single for the first time in a long time, and ready for a fresh start: no more meddling, no more drama. Maybe just some casual dating. Emphasis on casual. But she has more to worry about than her love life, as a letter from her mother's past sets her on a wild journey, and new faces at KISS bring change.
“As secrets unravel and bonds are tested, Kitty will learn that life, family and love are more complicated than she ever imagined.”
Without giving too much away Kitty ends up back at KISS (after being expelled at the end of season 1) after some strings are pulled by one of her friends. This season, she must face up to her relationships with three potential love interests, Dae, Yuri and Min-Ho. But at the same time, the biggest storyline will be her discovering herself – alongside her connection to her late mother, who was also a KISS student.
Kitty actor Anna Cathcart has opened up to Netflix about Kitty's adventures this season, and how happy she was with how season 1 ended. “Kitty doesn’t need a person, obviously," she said. "It’s very cool that she doesn’t have a person by the end. She’s essentially choosing herself and choosing the space to figure that out.”
XO, Kitty season 2 cast
Returning with Anna for season 2 will be: Minyeong Choi as Dae, Gia Kim as Yuri, Sang Heon Lee as Min-Ho, Anthony Keyvan as Q, Peter Thurnwald as Alex and Regan Aliyah as Juliana.
As well as Noah Centineo as Peter Kavinsky, new characters on the XO, Kitty cast include Audrey Huynh as Stella, Sasha Bhasin as Praveena and Joshua Lee as Jin.
