The sheer number of people who forwarded us their engagement announcement speaks to just how invested the world is in this celebrity romance. Despite their towering status in music, sport, and pop-culture-at-large, the pair have been surprisingly successful at keeping their relationship relatively low-key, even if they’re very clearly Down Bad for each other.
Hand in hand, they attended an SNL afterparty.
There’s a good chance we might not see every detail of their wedding plans until after it happens, and honestly? We’d quietly applaud them for that level of stealth.

Who will be Taylor Swift’s bridesmaids?

Previously, speculation centred on June 13, 2026 — the only Saturday that falls on the 13th that year, making it feel almost too perfect given Swift’s well-documented obsession with the number.
But newer reports suggest the couple are actually set to walk down the aisle on July 3. According to insiders, their save-the-dates were sent alongside non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), which guests were required to sign when returning their RSVPs.
Where is Taylor Swift's wedding being held?
Multiple reports suggested the couple had their eye on Ocean House Watch Hill as a potential venue. Swift has long had ties to Rhode Island, even owning a home there that inspired “the last great american dynasty,” making the location feel very on-brand.
However, claims that Swift secured a date by offering to “buy out” another bride were quickly shut down. A spokesperson for the resort denied the rumour, stating they “would not and are not allowing another party or entity to buy a wedding group out of a contracted wedding date.”
There have also been whispers of a private island destination wedding — which, honestly, would be their best shot at keeping things under wraps.
Fans had previously speculated that the big day might take place at Swift’s $17 million Rhode Island mansion, but newer reports suggest the wedding will be held closer to New York, a fitting choice, given how often the singer nods to NYC in her music.

The speculation surrounding Swift’s wedding date has even spilled into late-night television chatter.
The official X account for The Graham Norton Show sparked excitement by posting, “So exciting that @taylorswift13 has a date for her wedding now!”
Whether Norton actually knows the exact date remains unclear, but during Swift’s October 2025 appearance on the show, host Graham Norton jokingly asked, “Is next year the wedding year?”
Swift replied teasingly, “You’ll know. I was going to invite you to it.”
She also confirmed it would be a big wedding, saying, “I know it’s going to be fun to plan because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount [of guests], and people are on the bubble. Then, you have to evaluate or assess your relationship with them to see if they should be there? I’m not going to do that.”
Norton later joked on his Wanging On podcast that he had signed “so many NDAs” about the couple’s plans.
Meanwhile, rapper Flavor Flav has been publicly campaigning to officiate the ceremony ever since Swift and Travis Kelce announced their engagement in August 2025. Flav, who has jokingly called himself “King Swiftie” after attending the Eras Tour in Detroit, told E! News that he is “dying to be the officiator.”
