We’ll admit it: while we’re still mildly grumbling about how many wedding guest dresses we’re expected to buy this year, we can’t stop thinking about the rumoured nuptials of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.

The sheer number of people who forwarded us their engagement announcement speaks to just how invested the world is in this celebrity romance. Despite their towering status in music, sport, and pop-culture-at-large, the pair have been surprisingly successful at keeping their relationship relatively low-key, even if they’re very clearly Down Bad for each other.

There’s a good chance we might not see every detail of their wedding plans until after it happens, and honestly? We’d quietly applaud them for that level of stealth.

For now, here’s everything we know about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding prep so far.

Who will be Taylor Swift’s bridesmaids?

If there’s one thing about Swift, it’s that she’s always been a girl’s girl. From the iconic 1989-era friend gatherings to legendary Fourth of July parties, friendship has long been part of her public story, and it’s expected that her wedding will spotlight her closest inner circle.

Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid are widely expected to serve as bridesmaids. Swift was reportedly part of Gomez’s bridal party when she married Benny Blanco in September 2025, and Hadid was said to have been “thrilled” when Swift asked her during a dinner at New York’s Zero Bond.

Blake Lively remains one of Swift’s close confidantes, though their public appearances together have been less frequent in recent years. Sophie Turner is also generally assumed to attend, though she may choose not to take on a bridesmaid role.

And of course, Swift’s childhood best friend Abigail Anderson — the inspiration behind some of Swift’s earliest songwriting — will almost certainly be there.

On the groom’s side, Jason Kelce is widely expected to serve as best man. It wouldn’t be surprising if Swift also included Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce, among her bridal party.

When is Taylor Swift's wedding?

This hasn’t been officially confirmed by either Swift or Kelce, but speculation has centred on June 13, 2026.

It’s the only Saturday that falls on the 13th that year — a detail that feels almost symbolically perfect given Swift’s long obsession with the number 13.

Multiple reports have suggested the couple may be eyeing the Ocean House Watch Hill as a potential venue. Swift has long had a connection to Rhode Island, with a house there that inspired the last great American dynasty, making the location feel on-brand for her.

However, a report claiming that Swift secured the date by offering to “buy out” another bride was publicly denied. A spokesperson for Ocean House stated that the resort “would not and is not allowing another party or entity to buy a wedding group out of a contracted wedding date.”

According to other sources speaking to Page Six, the couple may now be exploring venues in Tennessee for a secondary ceremony, now that they realised the extent of their guest list.

There have also been whispers that a private island destination wedding could be on the table — which, honestly, would be their best bet at keeping the paps away.

What have celebs said about TS wedding?

The speculation surrounding Swift’s wedding date has even spilled into late-night television chatter.

The official X account for The Graham Norton Show sparked excitement by posting, “So exciting that @taylorswift13 has a date for her wedding now!”

Whether Norton actually knows the exact date remains unclear, but during Swift’s October 2025 appearance on the show, host Graham Norton jokingly asked, “Is next year the wedding year?”

Swift replied teasingly, “You’ll know. I was going to invite you to it.”

She also confirmed it would be a big wedding, saying, “I know it’s going to be fun to plan because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount [of guests], and people are on the bubble. Then, you have to evaluate or assess your relationship with them to see if they should be there? I’m not going to do that.”

Norton later joked on his Wanging On podcast that he had signed “so many NDAs” about the couple’s plans.

Meanwhile, rapper Flavor Flav has been publicly campaigning to officiate the ceremony ever since Swift and Travis Kelce announced their engagement in August 2025. Flav, who has jokingly called himself “King Swiftie” after attending the Eras Tour in Detroit, told E! News that he is “dying to be the officiator.”

On the guest list front, Kendall Jenner is widely expected to attend as a longtime friend of Swift.

However, insiders have speculated that Kim Kardashian may not be invited. While the two have reportedly reconciled somewhat after the long-standing tension connected to Kanye West and the 2016 Famous controversy, sources claim Swift prefers to keep the wedding entirely free of past drama.

“Having Kim there would just bring all that pain back,” one insider alleged. “She’s not prepared to go through it again.”

We do predict that one particular ex-boyfriend will be in attendance, aka Taylor Lautner and his wife, Taylor Lautner, as they're all on great terms.

For now, fans are mostly waiting for the inevitable post-wedding photo dump, and, of course, the song Swift will almost certainly write about the day. Which we'll automatically add to our own wedding playlist.
