And just like that... fashion month is over. Dubbed the ‘Great Reset’ – thanks to exciting debuts at Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Dior, Loewe, and Chanel – the SS26 beauty trends were equally exciting.
While the runway is usually home to some of the more outlandish beauty looks, we’ve distilled down everything from the shows at the New York, London, Milan and Paris fashion weeks to share our favourites from the season and the looks we think you’ll be seeing everywhere next spring.
From Bubblegum Lips and Vanilla Gloss nails to Cherub Skin and Boho Hair, scroll on to read about the SS26 beauty trends across makeup, hair, nails and more that you can actually achieve yourself.
Toffee Apple Lips

At Haider Ackermann’s second show for Tom Ford, the designer turned the sex dial up to eleven. Perfectly timed for the fast-approaching spooky season, makeup artist Lucy Bridge – who was just announced as the brand’s global makeup artist – gave models a lacquered red lip, sleek and shiny like a toffee apple. Ultra kissable, the lip was achieved using a layered approach for a long-lasting effect. To get it yourself, start with Tom Ford Lip Colour Matte in Velvet Cherry, followed by Tom Ford Slim Lip Colour Shine in Scarlett Rouge and finish with Tom Ford Gloss Luxe in 01 Disclosure for a high shine finish.

Vanilla Gloss Nails

As unofficial Queen of Nude Nails, when Harriet Westmoreland recently launched Westmoreland Cosmetics, fans of minimal manis everywhere rejoiced. It’s no surprise then that the new offering cropped up at fashion month on models at Christopher Esber’s latest collection, presented at Paris Fashion Week. Glassy and slightly milky, Vanilla Gloss leans into the minimal nail trends we’ve already seen throughout the year. Better yet, the shade is already available to buy if you want to hop on the trend early.
Monochromatic Lashes

Say goodbye to black and brown lashes next season because colour is reigning supreme. Seen on the runway at Collina Strada, Eckhaus Latta, Vivetta, and more, colourful monochromatic lashes were everywhere. Rip up the rulebook and go for hot pink, baby blue or ghostly white. Our fave was the glittery chrome lashes Isamaya Ffrench created for Thom Browne SS26, our number one pick for party season.
Cosmic Skin

This summer’s butter skin trend got an out-of-this-world upgrade for SS26 at the Sinead Gorey show during London Fashion Week. “We wanted to capture the essence of that girl at a festival - the one who, even on day three, still looks radiant, glowing, and completely herself,” Aoife Cullen, the lead makeup artist at the show, tells Glamour. “To reflect the heat and energy of the environment, we emphasised luminous, high-shine skin that shifted with the light, mimicking how stage lights move across the body. Ultimately, the intention was to create a look that felt authentic, effortless, and achievable.”
So how did she achieve it? Using GODMODE Beauty – the new brand launched by Rina Sawayama and Chloë Grace Moretz – Aoife slicked skin with the Genesis Glow All Over Highlighter Egg in Coded. Perfect for the high points of the face or swiped across eyes or lips, leave your skin with an otherworldly holographic glow.
Molten Lips

Another trend you’ll want to hop on early, metallic chrome lips are the perfect way to amp up your makeup during party season with next to no effort. During Paris Fashion Week at newcomer Torishéju, makeup artist Yadim highlighted black lips with molten centres, while during London Fashion Week, Lucy Bridges went for a frostier lip in icy shades of peach and blush.
Boho Hair

It’s no secret that Boho hair has reigned supreme this autumn – from the Boho Bob to Boho Blonde – and it doesn’t appear to be going anywhere for SS26. Deliberately undone, the goal is to create effortless lived-in hair with a bohemian feel. A style that works for any hair length, using products to achieve the tousled texture is key. You’ll have spotted the look at Erdem and Susan Fang courtesy of hairstylist Anna Cofone, as well as at Chloé in Paris by hairstylist Paul Hanlon. “When you think of Chloé, it's that very effortless chic, that French cool, slightly bohemian spirit,” he says. “It’s about confidence without being over-considered.” An easy one to achieve yourself, simply use a texturising spray like he did – Authentic Beauty Concept Airy Texture Spray is a go-to.

Twinkle Toes

While your toes are most likely safely hidden away for the colder months, by next spring you’ll be ready to pop on some open-toed shoes and in need of a pedicure. Need inspiration? Look no further than Ama Quashie’s sparkly set created for Burberry SS26. Painstakingly applied by hand individually, you can make life simpler with a holographic nail polish like Essie Original Nail Art Studio Special Effects Nail Polish Topcoat - Lustrous Luxury or Manucurist Green™ Natural Nail polish – Disco.
Cherub Skin

When Glamour’s editors tested out Dior Backstage Rosy Glow Stick earlier this summer, the results were overwhelmingly positive. So, it’s no surprise to see that Dior Makeup’s creative and image director Peter Philips had it on hand backstage at Jonathan Anderson’s anticipated womenswear debut, daubing cheeks with a cherubic blush. “The intention was to accentuate and enhance the natural beauty of each face,” Peter explained on the inspiration behind the natural, glowy look. “The makeup plays with the light, reflecting translucent, fresh, even skin, elevated by nude shades that blend in to deliver a glow in a contemporary spirit.”

Little Star

We’ve been fans of Starface Hydro-Star Pimple Patches since they launched back in 2019, but at Ashley Williams’ SS26 during London Fashion Week, they were used in a unique new way. While they promise to banish any blemishes you want to hide while keeping it cute, lead makeup artist Ana Takahashi used the star-shaped patches as adorable face accessories – sprinkling the models’ face with a galaxy of stars. Eagle-eyed fans of the brand will have also spotted even cuter miniature stars that are yet to be released. Watch this space…
Bubblegum Lips

2012 is calling! For those of you old enough to remember it the first time around, the neon shade that dominated a decade ago is back, courtesy of makeup artist Yadim Carranza at Chloé SS26. Pairing the model’s dewy skin and effortless Boho Hair (see above) with a pop of bubblegum pink across their lips, the artist used Saie Dew Blush in Baby. If you’re after a more classic version, the OG MAC Macximal Silky Matte Lipstick in Everybody’s Heroine is great too. If it ain’t broke.
