The TikTok beauty community can't seem to resist an innovative blush formula (and neither can we). The latest #BeautyTok obsession? The Milk Makeup Cooling Water Jelly Lip & Cheek Tint, which has been so inescapable online that it hardly needs an introduction.
The bouncy, squishy, jiggly texture has gone viral on the platform, so much so that some users have even tried biting into their Jelly Lip & Cheek Tints (disclaimer: this product is not safe for eating).

Resembling the look of a popsicle, this blush/lip stain hybrid product promises the juiciest flush of colour with a cooling feel – the kind you'd get from biting into a fresh strawberry on a hot summer's day. Unlike your regular run-of-the-mill blushers, this formula actually stains, which also means it's less likely to fade and will last you a helluva lot longer too.
The product comes in four vibrant shades: Spritz, Chill, Splash and Burst – ranging from berry pinks, coral and plum-like hues to cherry reds – all coming in an adorable yet compact packaging that's small enough to throw in any purse for those on-the-go touchups. Not to mention, the formula is also filled to the brim with hydrating and soothing ingredients such as vegan collagen, seawater and aloe vera.
Yet the question still stands: are the Milk Makeup Jelly Tints genuinely worth the hype? In true GLAMOUR fashion, we put each shade to the test to see whether they're universal enough to work on a variety of skin tones. So, if you're still not over the Strawberry girl aesthetic (TBH, same) and are considering to give these new blushers a go, you've come to the right place. This is our honest verdict…

The Verdict:
Shade: Spritz
I'm a sucker for anything to do with blush and lip products, so best believe that as soon as the new Milk Makeup Cooling Water Jelly Tints landed on my desk, my excitement was through the roof. I'm also someone who adores a lip tint for their convenience and lasting power, and love nothing more than to see a variety of vibrant shades as we head into the warmer months. First of all, I was intrigued with the jelly-like texture, which actually gave me that cooling and refreshing feel upon application.
As I was gliding the formula along my upper-cheek area and lips, I was seriously impressed with the pigment pay-off. I opted to blend it out with a brush, but I have to point out that you really have to work it in as fast as you can as it may prove to be a bit harder to blend once the product's already stained the area. Still, it performed surprisingly well on top of my base makeup products, without resulting in any lifting or patchy application. A must for the summer.

Shade: Splash
The Milk Makeup Cooling Water Jelly Tint is a super easy to apply product, the shade looked purple in packaging but on application was a natural-looking colour for both lips and cheeks. Applying it was a breeze as it glides so well across the skin and the pigmentation is perfectly balance to not be too much but give you a light flush thats buildable for intensity.
It's perfect for those no-makeup days and will be my go to blush in summer especially because its not super heavy or powdery (yay to my sweaty gals)! One thing to note is that it dries quickly, so you'll need to work fast to blend it out evenly. The gel-like texture feels lightweight and cooling on the skin, leaving behind a skin like finish that enhances your natural beauty. Overall, it's a fuss-free way to add a healthy flush to their complexion esp when in a rush.

Shade: Chill
I always love the idea of a gel-like cheek stain. But a lot of the time my skin just seems to eat the formula so after an hour's wear, the colour has completely disappeared. Not so with Milk's new Jelly Tint Blush + Lip Stain. I used the shade Chill, a reddy pink hue that looks like a popsicle. I quickly learnt that it's not as effortless a product as you might think and how you apply it is key to the finished look. You do need a hydrating base.
When I first applied the Stain to the back of my hand, it left me hardly any time to blend the colour before it dried. But over the top of moisturiser and foundation, I had a couple of minutes play time. I also found that a sponge is better than finger application. The colour pay off is really good and the sheen this Jelly Tint imparted, took me one step closer to glass skin. I can see myself using this on repeat in the summer months over a full face of sunscreen for a pretty flush.

Shade: Splash
I'm always on the lookout for products that can streamline my makeup routine, so when I got hold of Milk Makeup’s Cooling Water Jelly Tint, I had high expectations. And I must say, it didn’t disappoint. This multitasking gem works wonders as a lip and cheek tint, setting quickly to lock in colour while delivering a naturally flushed finish.
It glides on seamlessly thanks to the uber satisfying jelly-like texture that leaves a refreshing, cooling sensation on the skin. As for the shade? I opted for ‘splash’, a buildable, rose-tinted hue that lasts all day. Needless to say, this product is making its way into my makeup bag, offering a convenient pick-me-up whenever needed throughout the day.

Shade: Burst
First off, I love the concept behind this blush. Adorable to look at and so enticing that half of TikTok has actually tried biting into it, I love the almost nostalgic feel of the Milk water jelly tint, like a product you might pick up in Claire's as a kid (in the best possible way). While tints and blushes aren't a new concept, this cooling jelly approach certainly is, and I'm all for fresh alternatives that deliver without compromising on quality.
Given the jelly-like consistency I was intrigued by how this would transfer onto the skin, but it comes up super pigmented and could potentially stain if you're not quick enough to blend. With that in mind, using the poppy pink shade 'Burst' I applied and dabbed the product out immediately, also applying to my lips. The gorgeous pinky colour pay-off was instantaneous, though for a lighter touch applying with a brush feels like it would make a lot of sense too. Overall I'm in love with the packaging, was impressed with how a little went such a long way and appreciated the fact that this doubled up as a lip tint.
