As every Married at First Sight Australia fan knows, the hit reality show sees complete strangers walking down the aisle and tying the knot — but it isn't until the end of the series that we finally know whether or not the couples actually go through with their marriages. Currently in its eleventh series, Married At First Sight Australia has brought all of the drama and romance we could have dreamed of.
The show has introduced us to 12 couples matched by a team of relationship experts. While some of the couples instantly hit it off, others began on shakier ground. In fact, there have already been several cheating scandals and mid-season exits.
She speaks exclusively to GLAMOUR about swapping love-bombing for self-love.
Naturally, there has been plenty of juicy drama already — we will never (ever) forget Jayden's horrifying confession that after his girlfriend cheated on him, he made a deal with her to sleep with one of her best friends while she watched. (Literally what?) And then there was the gross moment Jack told Jono to “muzzle your woman”. Shocking! Although MAFS is, undoubtedly, excellent reality TV, it's also a great chance for viewers to learn and reflect about the red flags (and green flags) in their own relationships.
The scintillating season is still underway with the finale due to air here in the UK on the 29th of April. However, the show is airing a little earlier in Australia — plus, a few cast members have already spoken up about the status of their relationships.

Are Jayden and Eden still together?

Jayden and Eden seemed to have made it the full distance — however, Eden just provided a devastating update. It seems that after staying together after final vows, the pair broke up while the show was airing.
After initially hitting it off at their wedding, their romance flourished during their honeymoon. Of course, they went through a couple of ups and downs. There was that already-infamous confession from Jayden about how he handled a cheating ex by sleeping with her best friend — in front of her. Then there was the drama that arose when Eden claimed to be too anxious to attend one of the dinner parties. "It's clear that I can't handle this, these events give me such anxiety, it's really not worth me doing it anymore... I'm only going to ruin our relationship, and I don't want to ruin it," she told him.

After the show finished airing, a source also told the So Dramatic! Podcast: “I saw a very loved-up Jayden and Eden holding hands at a service station… They looked super cute and happy, guess they lasted the MAFS sh** show."
Eden also shared a short video of life with Jayden post-final vows.

Since then, however, Eden and Jayden have revealed that they parted ways.

In an Instagram post this week, she revealed that she and Jayden had parted ways.
“When I made the decision at final vows to be with Jayden, I really did that with longterm intentions,” she wrote. She then added, “I’m saddened to share that toward the end of the show airing, our relationship came to an unexpected end. The ‘reality’ is, the person I chose didn’t choose me. Whilst I’m disappointed, I will never regret the experiment, the people I met, the lessons I learnt and the growth this process has had on me."
Jayden also posted his own statement on Instagram about the breakup. “Sometimes in life, things don’t always go the way you had hoped for,” he wrote.
Are Ridge and Jade still together?

Ridge and Jade joined the show a few weeks after it began — but they quickly made up for lost time. Their only little hiccup came when Jade's family raised concerns that Ridge might be too immature. However, it seems that this wasn't enough to stop them from settling down together.
As Ridge told New Idea, he felt he “got lucky” with Jade. “I didn’t think an experiment like this could work, but I ended up falling in love. It was a happy accident," he confessed. The pair then revealed they were hoping to have kids in the future. “I’d also like to do a little bit of travel together and I’ll definitely be waiting for another ring before we have any kiddies,” Jade said. “The show doesn’t count. I’d like a proper engagement, instead of me just being handed to him!”
Jade also previously posted a picture of a man with tattoos on her Instagram story, which fans quickly recognised as Ridge. Cute. Since final vows aired in Aus, Ridge posted a snap of the two of them with the caption: “Made it out of the experiment with the old girl. Excited to do life with you on the outside.” Jade also shared a pic of the two hugging with the caption: “Finishing the experiment means long distance is the new normal for a while.”

Are Jack and Tori still together?

Jack and Tori often claim to be one of the strongest couples on the show, but they've certainly had a few low points. After Jack confessed to Jono that he didn't find Tori sexually attractive, Jono told his wife, Lauren, who proceeded to share what she had heard with Tori. When Jack found out it had gotten back to Tori, he infamously told Jono to “muzzle your woman”. Although the show's experts called out this awful behaviour, it didn't seem to deter Tori — soon after the incident, the pair got matching tattoos.
We don't know for sure whether or not the pair are still trying to make their relationship work, however, we have had a few hints. “I have finally met my bride & I cant wipe the smile off my face,” Jack wrote on Instagram in January when his first episode aired. In March, he also posted a picture to Instagram of the couple, writing, “About to check in on the GC. Ready for some Jack & Tori time.” Tori has also been posting about Jack. In March, she wrote, “United from day 1.”
Since final vows aired in Aus, Tori posted a pic from their meeting with words that certainly indicated the two were together, ending with: “This experiment is only the beginning of our journey, here’s to the next chapter of us.”

It's unknown whether rumours about Jack's ex-fiancée still living with him during and after the show's filming has impacted their relationship status.
However, in an interview with Women's Day from March 2024, the couple appear to be very much still together — in fact, they may even be thinking about children. “I think Jack would be a great dad," said Tori. “I just know that he was brought up with really strong values and he’d make an excellent dad. Kids are very important to me. We’ll have them.”
In April, Tori also took to Instagram to share a sweet message to her partner.

Are Ellie and Ben still together?
Not together
We already know that Ellie and Ben didn't make it as a couple — in fact, they didn't even make it to the end of the show.
After the pair initially seemed like a strong match at their wedding, Ellie's cousin warned her that Ben seemed a little more focused on his podcast than on his new relationship. Things went from bad to worse when, a few weeks later, Ben vanished for a full 24 hours then reappeared with a list of cons about his wife. Yikes! After that, the pair both voted to leave the show (and their relationship) behind.
Based on photos published by Daily Mail Australia, Ellie has been getting close to fellow participant Jono since leaving the show. Ben has also confirmed he has a new girlfriend named Aileen.
Are Andrea and Richard still together?
Not together
How could you not love Andrew and Richard? The oldest ever participants on the show at 51 and 62 respectively, the couple seemed to be an adorable match at first.
However, after Richard told the other participants a little too much about their relationship, Andrea began to have doubts. Eventually, they voted to end the relationship and leave the show.
Andrea recently told The Daily Mail of their split: “I never said I wasn't into Richie. I'd always said 'I like you, I'm here, I'm trying.' But of course, I would pull back when boundaries were crossed time and time again.”
She did confirm they are on OK terms now however: “We're good with each other...I still care about him, and I know he still cares about me.”
It's the scandal none of us saw coming.
Are Lauren and Jonathan still together?
Not together
Lauren has been the undisputed hero of this season, calling out bad behaviour and inappropriate comments wherever she sees them. Her husband Jono, however, is a little more afraid of confrontation and hasn't always been able to back her up.
In an episode of the show that hasn't aired here in the UK yet, Jono was caught texting fellow participant Ellie behind Lauren's back.
We don't know what happened between Lauren and Jono yet, but it seems that their relationship didn't work out. However, things seem to be going better with Ellie. In February, Jono was spotted kissing Ellie, fellow participant who was originally matched with Ben.
Are Sara and Tim
Not together
Few couples went through as many ups and downs as Sara and Tim. After having a huge fight on their honeymoon, things got even worse when Eden told the group that Sara had secretly met up with an ex-boyfriend during her time on the show. Although the pair did make it to the final ceremony, it seems they have since called it quits.

As Yahoo! reported, Tim has been spotted with another woman since filming. According to an insider, the woman is named Barbara —apparently, she and Tim had dated before his time on the show and they "got back together a week after he split from Sara”.
Are Cassandra and Tristan still together?
Not together
Cassandra and Tristan didn't exactly have an easy time on MAFS. After a touching wedding, the couple soon ran into issues as Tristan revealed he was too insecure for physical and emotional intimacy. Although Cassandra tried to make the relationship work, the couple eventually decided to leave the show.
“New level of Single unlocked 😅 What a ride that was, so thankful for the experience, the experiment and the experts. Happy to be home,” Cassandra wrote on Instagram.

Are Lucinda and Timothy still together?
Not together
A slightly older couple, Lucinda and Timothy hit a few speed bumps early on when Timothy revealed he wasn't attracted to Lucinda. After finally chatting to Lucinda's father, Timothy began to put a little more effort into the relationship. After the homestay week, however, the pair realised they simply weren't meant to be and they left the show.
As Lucinda revealed in an Instagram post, she did leave the show with a new bestie. “I changed my flight to Byron Bay right after leaving the experiment and headed straight to Andi’s [Andrea's] place on the Sunshine Coast,” she wrote. “What an amazing time we had, talking day and night, dining, going to the beach, doing our hair, giggling, and just being silly soul sisters. ✨”

She also left with no hard feelings towards Timothy. “Here’s cheers to the future version of ‘us’ as dear friends,” she wrote on Instagram. Videos on TikTok have also shown the two have appeared at events together and spoke of their respect and admiration for one another in friendship.
Rumour has it however that Lucinda's bestie and her ex may actually now be involved. Timothy recently appeared in one of Andrea's Instagram stories where he had fallen asleep on her sofa watching MAFS together. A source also told Chattr she was dating someone, and that people “would be familiar with this person.”
“This man calls and texts her almost every day, he’s coming to see her this weekend they’re having a secret little catch-up and have planned to stay together for a few days and then in a week or two she’s going to go and see him again!!!”
This could easily be pure speculation, with onlookers putting 2+2 together to make 5, but on the other hand, stranger things have happened!
Are Michael and Stephen still together?
Not together
Michael had originally been paired with Simon, however, when he decided to pull out of the show just days before walking down the aisle, the experts quickly found a replacement in the form of Stephen.
Michael and Stephen's journey began halfway through the series. Although Michael took an instant shine to Stephen, Stephen seemed less into his new husband. The pair began arguing and eventually left the show.
“My #MAFS journey has ended, but my search for love will continue,” wrote Michael on Instagram.

It was later reported on the So Dramatic! podcast, that Michael had moved on, with a source claiming they saw him partying in a Melbourne nightclub in 2023. “I met Michael from MAFS in the upstairs bathrooms of Revs back in Nov/Dec,” they said. “He was pashing [kissing] two of my friends throughout the night."
Jack just gave an update about his relationship status.
Are Madeleine and Ash still together?
Not together
It was clear from pretty much the very beginning that Madeleine and Ash weren't meant to be. In fact, they barely made it past the honeymoon before they called it quits.
Ash has been vocal about his experience since leaving the show, telling one podcast there was lots that went on that didn't make the edit. Speaking to Behind The Edit Podcast, he said: “There was a lot of chaos that didn't make it to TV. You only got a taste of what went on, it was crazy.”
“You didn't see jumping on tables, screaming at the universe, rolling around on the floor, not participating in any activity that we did. We went on a boat and she hated it, we did clay [pottery] and she hated it, didn't participate, just wild antics.”
Are Collins and Natalie still together?
Not together
Collins and Natalie were another couple that were, as it was immediately clear to all of us, ill-matched. After a deeply awkward honeymoon that saw Natalie collecting rocks for an uninterested Collins, the pair decided to end their time on the show.
After Natalie was spotted hanging out with fellow participant Ash at a festival, fans began to suspect a new romance. However, Ash denied the rumours, telling the Behind the Edit podcast, “Nat is a very, very beautiful person. I wish her all the best in life, but we're just friends. But yeah, I hope she finds love and she absolutely deserves it.”
