Sara and Tim from Married at First Sight Australia 2024 have kept us on our toes all season. From the date cancelling to Sara's hesitance to show Tim her phone and the murkiness surrounding her communication with her ex, at points, we really didn't know if the pair would make it through to the end of the season, let alone beyond.
While the MAFS reunion has come and gone in Australia, this won't air in the UK until the end of April. That said, if you've been anywhere near TikTok in the past week you might have already seen some things.
So, are Sara and Tim still together? Here's everything we know. Be warned, spoilers ahead.
First off, let's take a minute to catch up on the pair's journey.
Though the two had clear chemistry at the altar and Sara being muy impressed with Tim's Spanish, it became clear that she had doubts as to how ready Tim was for the new relationship after learning he was only newly single.
This ultimately led to a falling out on their honeymoon, with things getting even more tense for the Skye Suites instalment of the experiment when Sara flatly refused to show Tim her phone during one of the tasks set by the experts. This understandably made Tim doubt their connection, with him revealing that trust had been a key issue in his past relationships.
Then there's the small matter of Sara repeatedly cancelling date nights, which Tim understandably didn't feel great about and left him wondering if she was avoiding him.
All that said, the pair ultimately decided to stay together at the commitment ceremony, seeming to have constructive conversations about their issues and make meaningful progress in the right direction.
A look at the MAFS couple's life since leaving the experiment.
While the couples retreat showed cracks in the relationships of several other MAFS contestants' partnerships, Sara and Tim seemed to be in a better place than ever, with Sara noting that she felt Tim had her back when he challenged Jack in front of the group for making her feel uneasy.
We were loving the vibes between the two, though things took an unexpected turn when it came to light that Sara had seen her ex.
Eden and Jayden dropped the truth bomb at a dinner, clearly catching Tim off guard when Eden said that Sara had asked to borrow an outfit to catch up with her ex. Eek. Vitally, she hadn't mentioned her plans to Tim, leaving him feeling betrayed.
As you no doubt remember, things got uncomfortable, as they often do at MAFS dinners, and the pair got heated, with most of the other couples siding with Tim and encouraging her to take accountability for the whole situation.
Then came the commitment ceremony.
Amid all this shifty behaviour and arguing, Tim understandably chose to ‘leave’, however viewers were frankly shocked when Sara said she wanted to ‘stay’ and work through things together. She apologised for her dishonesty and assured him that she would make it up to him, with things seeming hopeful for the pair!

For those of you in the UK who want to avoid spoilers (though presumably you don't as you've Googled this), we'd advise you stop reading right about now.
Sara and Tim ended up making it to their final vows, and though Tim admitted he was torn between his “head and his heart", he admitted that he felt like he was “falling for Sara”.
Cute, right?!
It felt like the two had worked through their issues and fostered a genuine connection, with Sara explaining, “I've made a lot of mistakes in this relationship, and for that, I want to apologise. Seeing you hurt made me realise what I had in front of me and what I could be losing.”
Despite their tumultuous run on MAFS 2024, Tim told Sara "You've shown me you want this relationship." and the two left Married at First Sight Australia as a united front.

However, things took an unexpected turn yet again.
According to So Dramatic! Jade confronted Tim at the reunion after a friend had seen him on Tinder, despite him supposedly being in a relationship with Sara.
A source told the site that ""Jade dropped a huge bombshell that her friend had recently seen Tim on Tinder. Sara was completely caught off guard. She was embarrassed because they had been sitting there all loved up all night."
Ultimately, after the reunion aired in Australia, Sara announced that the pair had split, revealing in an interview with 9Entertainment: “We broke up a month after the reunion. We didn't speak for a little while after, it was hard for us both but a few months down the track we started talking again,”
Sara did, however, add that the two were on good terms, explaining “We're definitely friends now, we are very amicable. It's been good to be on good terms because we went through this crazy ride together.”
