Mango is so good right now. I should know. For the past year (at least), I've been checking the new-in section almost every day – and while they spent all winter nailing the layering game, their warm-weather releases have outshined their cool weather efforts endlessly.
The most stylish cohort of influencers-of-the-moment agree. Unless you've been living under a rock for the past month, you'll have seen cool girls including Lucy Williams, Monikh Dale and Lizzy Hadfield jet off the Menorca to celebrate the brand's epic new Mango X Simon Miller collab and all-things-summer earlier this month.
Sure, the West Coast Cali crocheted beach cover-ups and wide leg trousers inspired by exotic fish and mosaics among their most trending new season launches are notable, but there's one other white summer dress on the menu at Mango this season which has really caught my eye.

Of course, Mango has a wealth of experience in creating cult dresses. Cast your minds back to ~that~ crystal-embellished halterneck number from their collaboration with French influencer Camille Charriére. Or the high-neck knitted dress that Kate Middleton wore while visiting a children's centre in Middlesex last year (which sold out almost instantaneously).
Enter, stage right: their latest cult offering: a mini, white dress which is so good, it made it into the checkouts of countless GLAMOUR staffers and editors within minutes of discovery.
White mini dresses are the LBD of the summer season – but finding a good one is usually quite difficult. So, you can just imagine the sheer joy when we spotted this perfect piece at Mango: a ruffled, white mini dress with ruffled hem and spaghetti straps.
Forget what you thought you knew: the very best thing about it isn't the ruching that flatters every figure, or its versatility. Instead, the cut-out neckline that totally reminds us of a dress from Jacquemus' Spring/Summer 2021 collection (and that has been on our wish list for time) reigns supreme as its main draw.

The French fashion label's original is a maxi dress, but this miniature cut is at least as versatile and just that little bit more heatwave appropriate. Sold.
As for how to style? Depending on the occasion – and your preferred aesthetic – you could dress it down with a pair of white trainers, pair it with some Western-inspired cowboy boots for an upcoming festival or wear it with strappy sandals on holiday. Should it be later in the season and the air cooler, simply wear a bomber jacket atop it for a cool transitional get-up, or an oversized blazer for special occasions.
Whatever you do, act quickly. This mini isn't going to be in stock for long.
