Mango just launched the most perfect 00s-inspired partywear collection in collaboration with Camille Charrière
There's little in the shopping world that excites us more than a high street collaboration, but while brands may commonly partner with designer labels this season Mango has tapped into a slightly different market by collaborating with one of the industry's chicest influencers.
Those with their finger on the pulse will no doubt know the name Camille Charrière. Widely-regarded as one of the original fashion influencers, Camille is also broadcaster and writer, and an undeniable pioneer of the digital age - with a pretty major wardrobe to boot.
But while admirers of her style may so far have struggled to replicate her looks - thanks to a slew of one-off vintage pieces, designer loans and limited edition pieces splashed across her perfectly-curated social media platforms - this collaboration with Mango makes her infinitely chic, effortlessly cool aesthetic far more attainable.
“The collection is very much a curation of what I already own and wear on a regular basis,” she explains. “It is the essence of my style. We even included a version of the dress I wore at my wedding reception.”
Never one to shy away from a wardrobe statement, it's no surprise to discover that Camille's Mango edit is bursting with playful fabrics, risqué design details and that perfect blend of London cool and Parisian seduction that she has become so well-known for nailing.
From 00s-inspired party dresses to luxurious coats, timeless denim and lots of lace, this is a collection for those post-lockdown wardrobes crying out for a fresh injection.
Joining a long and successful history of collaborations between Mango key players within the fashion industry - everyone from Chufy to Leandra Medine and Pernille Teisbaek has collaborated with the high street stalwart - but we'd hazard a guess that Camille Charrière's edit may well turn out to be the most popular to date.
