Love Island 2025 has been controversial, to say the least.
While the compulsively watchable reality TV dating series continues to set out opportunities for good looking young things to find love, there's also been a lot of discourse around the behaviour of the male contestants on the show.

Despite the toxicity, many of us are still watching – hoping for some happy endings – and the Love Island 2025 finale is approaching. We only have mere days of tea and juicy gossip, as well as hopefully some couplings that will go the distance, before it's all over.
So when does Love Island end? Here's what to know about the finale episode of the series and whether we'll be getting a reunion.

When does Love Island 2025 end?
The finale for Love Island 2025 is rumoured to be Monday 4 August – the reality TV dating show always begins and ends on a Monday – but nothing has been confirmed yet. This would mean we should have just over four weeks to go. In terms of potentially winners, Meg and Dejon are favourites to win, but with a Casa Amor twist looming, anything could happen.
What will happen at the Love Island finale?
The final will be broadcast live at the usual time of 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX from the iconic Mallorca villa out, with host Maya Jama revealing the couple who has won the public vote, as well as a share of £50,000. The episode normally involves the final four couples compete to win, with the public voting for their favourites.
We also know that winners receive a gift every year in the post, which includes the latest (and much coveted) Love Island water bottle design, as well as a letter from the show's creative director, Mike Spencer-Hayter.
Until we reach the finale, Love Island airs every night of the week at 9pm except Saturday, where the Islanders are given a break from filming. The men and women are kept separately on this day each week, reportedly to avoid anything too juicy happening while the cameras aren't rolling.
Will there be a Love Island 2025 reunion?
In case you were hoping for more Love Island content in the form of a reunion episode, we're sorry to inform you that this has sadly been cut since the first Love Island All Stars season.
Given that the cast are brought back during the finale episode, ITV felt an extra reunion episode didn't make sense. Sad.
