Hailey Bieber is synonymous with a complexion that looks like it is bathed in actual dew and balmy swipes of cream blusher that mesh seamlessly to the skin. An early adopter of 2024's glazed blush trend, Hailey's Instagram feed is awash with examples of hydrating blush sitting atop liquid highlighter.
She also single handedly ushered in last summer's strawberry girl aesthetic with a carousel of pictures including a bare-faced selfie and a Rhode-branded strawberry sticker pasted to the tip of her nose. Predictably, the movement went viral and the limited edition Strawberry Glaze Peptide Lip Treatment she was teasing became a best seller.
On 5 March, Hailey Bieber took to Instagram again and dropped a new bombshell on the social media platform: her beauty brand Rhode is launching a blusher.
Tucked away in an innocuous carousel of beach shots – where the model and entrepreneur can be seen reclining in a red bikini, wearing matching red shades and a sun hat – is a shot of her holding a peachy pink blush stick, while patting the formula onto her cheeks to create a petal soft, iridescent flush.

Eagle-eyed fans immediately started flooding her feed with questions about whether she was teasing a new Rhode blusher. One user wrote “OMG rhode blush????”; another “wait is that a blush from @rhode 😍”. Hailey then took to her Stories, captioning one shot “Juicy glow on the go” with two pink ribbon emojis.
In another she confirmed the blusher launch, saying, “just to be clear, this is a rhode product I'm sooooooo excited about!” and added, “She's still in her tester package hehe” in case the black packaging had thrown us off the scent.
Last September, Hailey dipped her toe in the makeup space with the launch of Rhode's Peptide Lip Tint, an amped up version of her best-selling Peptide Lip Treatment. Infused with the same shea butter and peptide formula, the Lip Tint boasts a sheer-but-buildable formula in pink (Ribbon), berry (Raspberry Jelly), coffee (Espresso) and rose taupe (Toast) hues.

Could the pink ribbon emojis in last night's post mean one shade of blusher will also be called Ribbon? Is the premise to match your lips to yours cheeks for a dewy monochomatic moment? And will the formulas be a hybrid skincare/makeup product laced with the same skin-softeners – hyaluronic acid, marula oil and niacinamide – as her cult Peptide Glazing Fluid?
We have a lot of questions and the launch date remains shrouded in mystery. But one thing is certain: we're already fantasising about just how alive our weather-beaten skin will look in spring with a little Rhode rosiness.
