Ekin-Su has gone up even higher in our estimations after we learnt the Love Island winner gave Stranger Things' Noah Schnapp a call back after he DMed her on Instagram.
Look, no one's above the odd DM slide, OK? Not us, not celebrities with millions of followers to their names. And as Noah Schnapp revealed, during an Instagram Live conversation with Millie Bobby Brown (where else?), sometimes that opportunism seriously pays off.
The 17-year-old actor, best known for playing Will Byers on Netflix's hit science-fiction horror drama, recounted to his fellow cast member: “I DM’d Ekin-Su and she answered me.”
Noah has 26.9 million followers and is also a leading star in one of the biggest shows of the moment, in all fairness, so we're sort of not surprised he got a response – but then we are so here for how his face lights up with joy as he shyly recounts the exchange to Millie, adding: “We video-called each other".
For anyone who's been living under a rock these past few months (or indeed just not watching Love Island, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, 22, is a Turkish soap opera actor who, together with partner Davide Sanclimenti, won this year's Love Island.

During the live, Millie also did a brilliant impression of Davide – with his trademark Italian accent – during an iconic moment of this year's show where he calls Ekin-Su a liar.
A clip of the exchange has been shared on Twitter, and users are loving it: “This crossover is EVERYTHING,” reads one comment below, with many quote-tweeting the post and saying the same thing.
“The strangest thing was that I trusted you”.
The conversation has been confirmed from Ekin-Su's side too. “‘He messaged me being like, ‘oh my god, I love you so much, you killed it”, and I was like ‘Thank you’, and he goes, ’I love you!'," she told On Demand Entertainment in an interview.
