It's Brits night, y'all! Yup, the UK's biggest night in music has arrived – the BRIT Awards 2024 took place at the O2 Arena in London on Saturday 2 March. Once the titans of pop – we're looking at you Dua Lipa and Kylie Minogue – and the rising stars of rock (all hail The Last Dinner Party!) had strutted their stuff on the red carpet, and some show-stopping looks were served – it was time for the actual show to commence.
Hosted by presenters Maya Jama, Clara Amfo and Roman Kemp and with performances from the aforementioned Queen of pop, Ms Kylie Minogue – who picked up a global icon award – as well as performances from Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding, there was also the small matter of some mantlepiece hardware to be taken home.
With female artists dominating the nominations this year, we were all set for the sisterhood to sing tonight – both literally and metaphorically.
