Succession star Sarah Snook and Dakota Fanning are set to lead the TV adaptation of the bestselling novel All Her Fault.

Not unlike hit Disney+ TV series The Stolen Girl – starring Denise Gough, Jim Sturgess (who you may recognise from the One Day film, which he starred in opposite Anne Hathaway), Holliday Granger and Ambika Mod – the book and novel's premise revolve around the disappearance of a child after a playdate, and a mother's mission to find her.

Andrea Mara, who wrote the bestselling novel of the same name, will be an associate producer on the project, and Snook will also executive produce, as well as lead the exciting new series. How closely the show's plot will align with the book is still being kept under wraps, but we're super excited to see Sarah return to our screens.

The Succession actor has been busy starring on the London West End's rendition of The Picture of Dorian Gray, which has, of course, been met with critical acclaim. She also has become a mother herself, giving birth to a baby daughter in between wrapping Succession and beginning rehearsals for Gray – so we look forward to seeing the personal perspective she will bring to the role.

Here's everything we know so far about the series.

All Her Fault plot

Sky's synopsis for the TV series reads as follows: “Marissa Irvine (Sarah Snook) arrives to collect her young son Milo from his first playdate, but the woman who answers the door isn't a mother she recognises. She doesn't have Milo and has never heard of him. And so begins every parent's worst nightmare.”
