8 Punk-Inspired Looks Beyoncé Could Wear To The Met Ball
Beyoncé has been named the Honorary Chair of the Met Ball, one of the fashion industry's biggest nights on the red carpet. But what will she wear? The ball has a punk theme this year, so we look into our fashion crystal ball and predict some outfit options - all punk-inspired looks from the Autumn/Winter 2013 collections.

We'll admit it, Bey isn't the first person that springs to mind when you say 'punk'. Luckily punk was a major trend on the catwalks so there's plenty of looks to choose from.
We're hoping she'll honour the fancy dress theme like a trooper and wear a luxe version of something more suited to Joan Jett or Siouxsie Sioux. This belted metallic all-in-one with fishnet inserts would certainly make a statement - and Bey's worn jumpsuits on the red carpet before.

Donatella Versace's 'Vunk' collection was one of the show's that played the biggest homage to the punk trend - Bey would look awesome in this studded PVC number.

Or how about this high-necked creation? With so many punky looks in the collection, Mrs Carter is sure to find something that suits - AND we'd get to see uber-glamourous Donatella on the red carpet (win).

It's unlikely Anna Wintour would approve, but this Topshop Unique look would be amazing on Beyonce - the cropped sweater, the mix of textures and ankle boots have got a badass edge.

Tailoring is always a chic choice in a sea of samey red carpet gowns - Preen's collection, with its androgynous fit, chains and monk strap shoes had attitude in spades.
Givenchy
Riccardo Tisci's Givenchy collection had a punk spirit with its ripped florals and mashed up Bambi print black sweatshirts. It's unlikely that Bey will be donning a sweater and ripped skirt for the red carpet - but such a bold move would have plenty of punk spirit.
