Here are all the wedding dress trends you can expect in 2018
When it comes to wedding days, there used to be so much focus on history and tradition, but people are doing things a little differently these days. While every bride seems to go their own way, trends still occur when it comes to things like dresses, hair, beauty, venues and decor. The place that most people plan their wedding is, of course, Pinterest, so they have some amazing insights into the trends and predictions for the coming years.
According to their 2018 trend report, released at the end of February, we can expect some big things from wedding dresses this year.
It seems that 2018 will be all about comfort rather than style. Women are turning to high necklines (+351%) and toppers, like boleros (+163%). Jumpsuits (+178%), sleeves (+75%) and flats (+119%) are all about making it easy to dance and have a fab time - while looking fierce, of course.

In terms of colour, people are ditching white and ivory in favour of a rose (+46%) or champagne coloured dress (+358%), and if you’re not really a veil person, throw on a cape (+88%). For jewellery, minimalist backdrop necklaces (+207%) are fab for adding some unexpected charm.

Not forgetting about the guys, not only will dresses see some changes, but suits are seeing new trends emerging too. Dapper tweed suits are up 165% and laid-back tie-free ensembles saw an increase of 459%.
