Victoria Beckham got her hair cut in the back of her car on the way to the People’s Choice Awards and we love her for it
We’ve all done the sudden rush to get ready before a night out. A lipstick touch-up in the back of the taxi, a few last-minute waves when you should’ve left the house 10 minutes ago. But we’d never expect an A-list celebrity, with an entire army to cater for their hair and makeup needs, to do the same.
That’s why we’re seriously here for Victoria Beckham, who had a full-on hair cut in the back of her car en route to the People’s Choice Awards last night.
Before picking up the first ever People's Choice Fashion Icon Award in Santa Monica, Los Angeles, the fashion mogul had her hair trimmed by hair stylist, Ken Paves.
Sharing a video to her Instagram Stories, VB says: “So we are now doing hair and make-up in the car. A quick haircut… Was someone late, Ken? Is that why we are literally getting ready in the car?”
“I’m never late,” we can hear Paves responding.
Victoria founded her fashion line in 2008, and her commitment to the industry has been credited as the reason why she’s not joining the Spice Girls reunion.
“She was busy with her fashion and she has moved on,” ex-band mate Emma Bunton said on The Jonathan Ross Show last week.
So, turns out, celebs are just as accustomed to last-minute glam panics as we are. Now only if we could have her own personal hair stylist in the back of our Uber Pool…
