Five things you need to know from Victoria Beckham's Fashion Week show (including the new shoe of the season)

Never one to miss out entirely on playing the supportive son, Brooklyn unveiled a new tattoo last night in tribute to his mum.

3. Her first foray into kitten heels

Once known for her skyscraper heels, Victoria has in recent years interspersed these with the odd flat mule or box-fresh trainer. However, this season she experimented with a new heel-height via a very current kitten heel.

Speaking ahead of the show, VB admitted: "I've worn trainers and all sorts, but I've never actually been into kitten heels, which is why this really excites me." We're very into it.

4. Two runways instead of one

Forgoing her usual 400-strong runway audience, Victoria harked back to her smaller show-and-tell days via a more intimate crowd.

Instead hosting two catwalks with just 90 invited guests all sitting front row and close to the models, the designer wanted to ensure the intricate details and unexpected fabrics didn't go unnoticed.

5. VB embarks onto the athleisure bus

While we're used to her current love of a loose silhouette, Victoria's cashmere hoodie was an unexpected feature of this latest collection.

With a drawstring neck, elastic cuffs and pocket to the front, the piece was remarkably effortless and suggests a welcome introduction of athleisure to her offering.
