Victoria Beckham just launched her chicest bag ever, inspired by a jewellery gift from David
We don't mean to alarm anyone, but we think we may have just discovered the bag of the season… and it's all thanks to the one and only Victoria Beckham.
As anyone even remotely invested in the cycle of fashion will tell you, the minute a new season rolls around along comes that inevitable desire for a little wardrobe refresh. But while some are, perhaps wisely, investing in their outerwear repertoire or stocking up on some timeless new boots, many of us have our sights set on the industry's latest handbag offering.

In a video posted by Victoria on her Instagram page, the designer spoke of the sentimental inspiration behind the new launch. “Now I love a good bag, but I want a bag that doesn't just look good, I want a bag that can really fit all my stuff in as well, that's very important.”
“What I love about this new Victoria Beckham Chain Pouch is that it does all that, and it looks good. It looks elegant, it looks chic, it could dress up even the simplest of outfits.”
“But the great thing about this bag is it really functions as well, and that is key. It's super tactile, you can wear it a multitude of different ways. I'm obsessed with it.”
“It was inspired by a watch that David gave me a few seasons ago, so you can see the inspiration. It feels a little bit masculine, but it feels super super cool and chic.”
But it's not just Victoria who, of course, adores her latest launch, with model Karlie Kloss having also been spotted carrying the envelope clutch in black leather recently during New York Fashion Week.
Whether you're prepping for a big date night and looking for something to complement that simple black slip dress, or you want a new statement piece to elevate your more low-key jeans-and-a-white-t-shirt kind of days, there are very few looks that the Chain Pouch wouldn't work for.
