90s tendrils, graphic eyeliner and dewy skin: The best beauty trends to come from the SAG red carpet
Red carpet events aren't solely about the dresses, you know. As Lupita Nyong’o and Sophie Turner can attest, the SAG Awards served as the perfect opportunity to experiment with some bold new beauty looks and give the rest of us some serious hair and makeup inspo for the rest of the year.
Lupita has a penchant for bold eye makeup and her SAG Awards beauty look did.not.disappoint. The actress rocked graphic black offset with a white feline flick, which we'll definitely be trialling when we've made it through dry January and can actually leave the house.
Meanwhile, Sophie Turner, one of our all-time favourite beauty muses, plumped for a 60s-inspired beauty look, with voluminous, clumpy lashes and Zoë Kravitz complemented her peach Oscar de la Renta gown with eyeshadow in the same pared back hue.
As well as some major beauty looks, the stars garnered attention for their hairstyles, too. America Ferrera made a case for the pearl headband, while Margaret Qualley's parted ponytail proved that minimalism is the new maximalism.
