Reese Witherspoon keeps dishing up throwback pics of some truly delicious beauty looks

We can learn a lot from Reese Witherspoon. For starters, women can have it all – and, if we want to wear fluffy stilettos and a bubblegum pink power suit while we're doing it a la Elle Woods, we 100% can.

Reese has navigated the pitfalls of Hollywood with grace, and risen from emerging actress to leading lady, producer, director and all-round legend. She's used her voice to platform important issues, like #MeToo, she's tackled the sexism and discrimination in her industry head-on with #TimesUp and she's used the respect and position she's earned to leverage honest and in-depth portrayals of women through more female storytelling.

But alongside setting an incredible example and changing the world one giant leap at a time, Reese is just as likely to drop beauty tips as she is life advice – because #balance. In fact, it's a topic she's pretty passionate about.

When explaining why she'd chosen to partner up with Elizabeth Arden as the brand's "storyteller-in-chief" she revealed that founder, Elizabeth Arden's story as a pioneering force in the beauty industry was a major draw. “She started a beauty brand [in 1910] before women even had the right to vote. We stand here because of women like her, who were bold enough and headstrong enough to start their own businesses and pave the way for the rest of us,” she told GLAMOUR US.

Reese has always been open about the impact her beauty regime can have on how she feels, too. "I love when I get my highlights. My colorist, Lorri Goddard, is the best. I've gone to her for 15 years, and she’s taken me from brown to blond to red and back to blond. I just feel better getting my hair done," she told GLAMOUR US.
