The GLAMOUR Beauty Power List 2018 is the ultimate shopping cart of the best-ever beauty products worth your £££, with a whopping 100 categories of must-haves, from best radiance face mask to best overnight treatment and best app to best beauty tool.
With thousands of products in contention, picking the best products is no mean feat, so we called in the beauty pros-in-the-know to help the GLAMOUR beauty team whittle it down to 4 nominees, in 100 categories. And just like the products they nominated, they are also stars in the beauty world. From the leading experts in their field, called on by the A-list to keep their skin sparkling and hair and makeup en pointe, or the mega influencers whose every move is followed by millions, our panel really are the best in the business. Here's all you need to know on how they smashed their way to a panel spot.

Session manicurist Ama quit her job on a daily newspaper to become a manicurist and has since worked on campaigns for Sportmax, Armani Beauty and Hermes, as well as backstage at shows including Joseph, David Koma, and Julien Macdonald.

Three Times winner of 'Afro Hairdresser of The Year', Charlotte started doing hair on her three year-old sister growing up in Ghana, but made her dream of setting up a salon come true in 1999 with the help of the Prince’s Trust. She has also made her mark on the hair industry with the self-named haircare range that takes home gongs for its ability to nourish and hydrate all hair types.
Chelseé Lewis
Award-winning facialist Chelseé’s West London clinic is a haven for frazzled beauty insiders and celebs alike, where her famously toning and skin-transforming facials are informed by her huge knowledge of how skin functions.
Hila Karmand
Hila boasts surely the best 'how I started out' story ever! After offering advice to a customer who transpired to be Prince's manager, her career rocketed, and she traveled the world with the music legend. Hila has gone on to work with the likes of Jourdan Dunn and Naomi Campbell.
Kay Montano
Kay started out as a makeup artist at 16, and by the time she turned 18 she was working with John Galliano and on editorial shoots. She’s since become a go-to for scores of A-Listers including Rachel Weisz, Kristen Dunst, Emilia Clarke, Jennifer Lawrence, and Cara Delevingne.
Luke Hersheson
The Co-Founder and Creative Director of the Hersheson salons, the purveyors of ‘cool girl’ hair, is also the Creative Director for John Frieda, and editorial session stylist. Luke has worked his magic on Sienna Miller, Keira Knightley, Claudia Schiffer, and Kirsten Dunst among others. His new salon is as Insta-friendly as it gets.

Known for her frank and relatable videos, YouTube star Patricia has over two million subscribers to her channel and close to a million Instagram followers - and has worked with some of the biggest brands out there including Bobbi Brown and MAC. Ta found a global audience while working as a freelance makeup artist for M.A.C. Cosmetics through Instagram, where he now has 1 million followers and fills his squares with images of his clients who include Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Emily Ratajkowski, and Rihanna.

Pioneering makeup artist Ruby has worked with Estee Lauder, Clarins, Clinique, Aveda, and Revlon, also co-creating her own innovative range, Ruby & Millie, in the 90s. She’s also worked in front of the camera, offering up beauty advice on the BBC, GMTV, Britain’s Next Top Model, and This Morning, among others.
Dr. Sam Bunting
A cosmetic dermatologist who has transformed the complexion of many a beauty editor and is the insider go-to for adult acne. She dishes her skin secrets on Instagram and has also appeared on Channel 4’s ‘How Not To Get Old’, NBC’s ‘The Today Show’, and This Morning.
Dr Stefanie Williams
Famed for her pragmatic no-nonsense approach, to skin biology and aesthetic treatments, Stefanie is a Medical Doctor, Dermatologist and Cosmetic Scientist and expert in ALL things skin. There's no skin issue that can't be solved at her clinic, Eudelo Dermatology & Skin Wellbeing centre in London.
Tinu Bello
A session manicurist who has worked on shoots with celebrities such as Rita Ora, Bella Hadid, and Cara Delevingne with her work featuring in all the top glossies. Tinu also owns the ColourRiotNails salons in Oxford Street and Shoreditch.
