Peel off foundation is trending - but these are the new bases we're REALLY excited about
We're guessing we're not the only ones who wondered if the beauty world had gone mad when we heard peel-off foundation has made its debut.
Sure, we're all for trying new things, but this seems kind of... crazy, right?
Well technically, this new Korean beauty product (Not4U's Real Skin Patch) doesn't actually work like a foundation. It is tinted, but it is used before foundation. It works by creating a barrier between skin and makeup, as well as protecting from outside agressors such as pollution. But the most notable feature? Its peel-off nature.
The 'foundation' is officially trending, with YouTubers aplenty giving it a go. Raye Boyce's video has been watched over 300,000 times - and gives the best all-round review. Let's just say the peel-off feature didn't exactly go down a storm!
We're not sure how we feel about scary-looking peel-off formulas (plus, this Korean product doesn't seem to be available to UK audiences anyway), but these new and upcoming bases certainly HAVE got our attention...

This much-awaited foundation is BareMinerals' biggest launch this year - and it's a winner in our eyes. With an impressive 30 shades, Barepro provides a natural matte finish and feels great on the skin. We <3 this.
Huda Beauty #FauxFilter Foundation, £32, Available Mid-October
In true Huda Beauty style, the brand's upcoming release has created a hell of a lot of buzz and has been shrouded in a veil of secrecy. It sounds incredible, though. Huda described it in her own words as containing "skin-perfecting pigments that will blur blemishes, conceal hyperpigmentation, and hide imperfections". DREAMY.
