You have to see these major dresses straight from the Oscars 2020 red carpet
For those of us in the UK, Sunday consisted of sheltering from unpredictable downpours and dodging wild winds thanks to Storm Ciara. For those on the other side of the pond - at the Dolby Theatre in LA, to be precise - it was a far boujier affair.
Prepping themselves for one of, if not THE most eagerly-anticipated red carpet of the year, some of the world's biggest stars spent the day with stylists, make-up artists, and hair stylists ahead of their arrival at the 2020 Oscars.
Awards season so far has played host to some major red carpet looks. From Renee Zellweger in Prada at the BAFTAs, to Zoe Kravitz's Saint Laurent gown at the Golden Globes and Ariana Grande's show-stopping Giambattista Valli moment at the Grammys, it's been five weeks of seriously memorable dresses.
But, while we've enjoyed poring over each and every red carpet arrival - in the fine words of Chrissy Teigen who Tweeted that she loves the SAG Awards because "Everyone gets to wear their 3rd favorite dress" - the Oscars is the event we'd all been waiting for.
And with the likes of Margot Robbie, Renée Zellweger, Saoirse Ronan and Scarlett Johansson all up for awards, we were expecting big things.
