Glow in a bottle: The top selling primer in Australia has rave reviews online
Plenty of makeup artists swear by primer for making their makeup last all day, and now Australian health and beauty retailer, Priceline, has revealed the ultimate best-selling primer.
According to the Daily Mail, beauty buffs have been going wild for the stuff because not only does it stop your makeup budging, it also helps to minimise pores and give you glowy skin all at the same time. Oh, we love a multitasker.
The product? Luma Beauty's Liquid Light Illuminating Primer.
It's only a small bottle at 40ml, but many claim that you only need to use a tiny amount to get a 'lit from within' glow - so we can probably forgive the size.
Containing light-diffusing particles and crushed pearl to enhance your natural radiance, the primer is also enriched with vitamins A and E, to lock in moisture and give your complexion a pick me up.
LUMA beauty is the brainchild of Australian Victoria's Secret model,Jessica Hart.
It took two years of research and development before Jessica launched the cosmetic brand, Luma, in late 2014.
But three years later, Hart totally reinvented the brand because she 'wasn't proud of what it had become.'
She told The Daily Telegraph earlier this year: 'I worked so hard to get it where it was, but I wasn't as proud of it as I knew I could be... it was a bit of a risk and it (the relaunch and rebrand) was expensive, but it was something I had to do.'
It would seem the revamp has paid off for the model, with the Liquid Light primer receiving five-star reviews all over the internet.
One wrote,
"Absolutely love this primer as it gives me a light but illuminating glow under my foundation...A little does go a long way."
While another said,
"I have LOVED using this primer. It was really simple and clean application and creates such a base to apply your liquid foundation. It gives you a really radiant luminescence glow without making you look shiny and dewy."
Sadly the website does ship internationally but it'll cost you a pretty penny unless you spend over $100 (£75), so we'll just have to keep everything crossed that it'll end up on our high street soon.
If it brings us one step closer to reaching that Victoria's Secret runway skin - we'll give it a try.
