GLAMOUR.COM’s Beauty Ed Louise rated <a href=https://beautysale.store/fashion/catwalk/SS2011/ReadyToWear/london/Todd_Lynn/full-length-photos target=_new>Todd Lynn’s</a> ladies as her favourite hair look. “I really love the return of contrasting textures; messy, mussed-up, tangled ponies and buns contrasted with wet-look, slicked back hair.”

Fashion bade farewell to one of its most memorable faces at St. Paul’s Cathedral this week as a host of famous faces turned up to pay their respects to the late Lee “Alexander” McQueen. Anna Wintour gave a reading and Bjork performed a song at the memorial for the designer, who committed suicide in February this year.

Backstage, Daisy Lowe’s pooch Monty nearly stole the show for being so darn cute.

Annnnd, the award for Most Shows Attended In One Week has got to go to model Amber Rose, from her stint on the catwalk for <a href=http://www.bodyamr.com target=_new>BodyAmr</a> to her front row presence at nearly everything else. Now that’s dedication to fashion.

We’ve had East London warehouses (<a href=https://beautysale.store/fashion/catwalk/SS2011/ReadyToWear/london/Christopher_Kane/full-length-photos target=_new>Christopher Kane</a>), Battersea Power Station (<a href=https://beautysale.store/fashion/catwalk/SS2011/ReadyToWear/london/Matthew_Williamson/full-length-photos target=_new>Matthew Williamson</a>), the divine Somerset House (plenty of on schedule shows), but the most inspired new venue has got to be <a href=https://beautysale.store/fashion/catwalk/SS2011/ReadyToWear/london/TopShop_Unique/full-length-photos target=_new>Topshop</a>’s runway inside the old Eurostar terminal at Waterloo station. Very impressive.

If we didn’t already want Olivia Palermo’s wardrobe (and of course we did), we really, really do now. She brought her New York style to LFW, looking perfectly put-together and totally on-trend on plenty of front rows.

Plain old runway? No thanks. First prize for the most elaborate show set goes to <a href=https://beautysale.store/fashion/catwalk/SS2011/ReadyToWear/london/MeadhamKirchhoff/full-length-photos target=_new>Meadham Kirchhoff</a>, whose catwalk was strewn with a forest full of blooms and branches. Plus, the girls’ multi-coloured hair gave the whole proceedings an Alice-in-Wonderland-gone-wrong vibe.
