Mens Fashion Week just got ALOT more interesting
As London Collections: Men draws to a close, we look at 10 trends that cropped up on the menswear catwalks that we'd quite like to steal for ourselves.

Dolce & Gabbana had a friendly intruder at their show on Monday night. Just as the duo, who were found guilty of tax evasion in mid-June, were about to take their bow on the catwalk a man, wearing only red trainers, came storming down the runway. Word is still out on what he was protesting though...
Christopher DadeyLondon Collections: Men has been bigger than ever this season – but one thing hasn’t changed since the last crop of shows – as women’s fashion often borrows from the boys, we’ve noticed a fair few crossover trends on the catwalk that would look just as chic on girls, too. From romantic lace and flamingo prints to pink and halterneck tops (yes, really), there isn’t quite anything as controversial as JW Anderson’s trumpet skirts for men last season, but there are plenty of girl-friendly ideas on the runway. It’s a new take on androgyny – and we’re keen to steal some of (or at least, be inspired by) the following looks from the men’s collections.

The McQueen show was heavy on florals, but this delicate lacy, double-breasted suit caught our eye.

Last season, JW Anderson showed ruffled skirts for men. This season, he went a little more conservative (but not much more) with floral halter tops and slacks.

The Western-inspired shirts and sweater at Topman were given a new lease of life styled with high-waisted trousers and mirrored specs.
Christopher DadeyLeopard Print at Katie Eary
With women modelling swimwear alongside menswear, Katie Eary's show didn't cater to any one gender. Whilst the pink bikinis certainly packed a punch, it was the skater boy-inspired menswear and suiting in acid leopard print we wanted to steal.
GoRunwayTweetie Pie Tattoos at MAN
Models at MAN were adorned with a cartoon bird via temporary tattoos and printed onto sheer chiffon layers. We love a cartoon print and tattoo motif as a fun new alternative to a slogan tee.
Optical Prints at Christopher Kane
Print still featured heavily on the men's catwalk - but instead of classic patterns, more futuristic optical prints like these at Christopher Kane were the order of the day. We want this t-shirt in particular.

Spotted in a couple of collections, Fisherman Hats replaced fedoras and baseball caps as the runway headgear of choice.

Sibling's show also had a tattoo motif sweater (see above), but we love the perforated t-shirts and loud Bermuda shorts. Again, not something we can see our boyfriend wearing - so we will instead.

The tropical shades at Christopher Shannon had us yearning for a heatwave - we want a lime or flamingo pink shirt in our wardrobes pronto. And as for the glitter hair? Ideal for festivals, if not IRL.

Firstly, we want those mirrored sunnies. Secondly, we want that knit jumper that reminds of Isabel Marant. Thirdly, those metallic culottes would look super chic with flat sandals.

Separate or together, this outfit inspired by antiquity gives new meaning to our understanding of Grecian. Forget the drapery or one-shoulder column gowns, this visual print adds a new twist on the look.
