"Lashify are sort of like a hybrid between strip lashes and lash extensions," Shei said. "If you can see, the lash line is super thin." That's what makes it a little bit different - alongside the fact that they sit underneath your natural eyelashes.

Here, Shei breaks down the steps to perfect application.

Step 1:

Make sure your eye area is clean. Using the Gossamer Pre-Cleanse.

Step 2:

Apply the glue. You have the option of applying it on the lash line of the gossamer lashes or applying it like mascara on directly onto your lashes.

Step 3:

Allow glue to get tacky and then apply gossamer lashes. I used three clusters in two different sizes, two large ones in the outer eye and one thin glue half way of the eye.

Step 4:

Use the Fuse control wand that is shaped to contour around your eye and nose, to pinch and fuse the gossamer lashes with your natural lashes.

Step 5:

Seal them together and tidy it all up using the Gossamer Glass.

Step 6:

Enjoy your new natural flutter.

Step 7:

For safer removal use the gossamer remover melt away.

"Overall I love them," Shei said. "They’re the perfect alternative if you love the look of bold but natural lashes, without the day-to-day faff of strip lashes, but also can’t quite commit to lash extensions. I’m particularly impressed with the fuse control wand because the most annoying part of strip lashes is the application, and that wand is perfectly shaped to curve around your nose and eye, so making application and fusing effortless.

"They’re quick to apply, are reusable and last a few days. Even though they’re supposed to last a couple of days, I haven’t quite mastered the art of keeping them all on my lashes for longer than two/three nights, as I’m subconscious eye rubber. If you seal them correctly and keep your hands out of your eye though, they can last up to 10 days."
