Bella Hadid reveals what it REALLY takes to become a model - and it'll surprise you
She has millions of Instagram followers, every fashion beauty and fashion houses bending over backwards to work with her and one of the most distinctive looks in the industry. In fact, she's had such stratospheric success in such a short amount of time, people are hailing Bella Hadid as a modern day supermodel.
So how on earth did Bella land - and maintain - her coveted spot as one of the world's top models? Well, the young catwalk star has revealed exactly how.
Speaking to Teen Vogue, Bella shared her best tips for landing a career as a model.
Her first tip is to be totally authentic and not try and emulate anyone else.
"And it sounds so cliché, but you see girl backstage sometimes that finally, now, after three years of being in the business, can be themselves and show who they really are, and it's the best part about them. Sometimes people try to get put into a box, and there are no boxes here," she said.
The star also notes that, rather refreshingly, it's not all about being 'perfect'. Phew.
"It doesn't matter if your walk is a little wobbly, she said, "it's about the relationships you make, about the kindness that you spread, and obviously working really hard you have to have a great mindset to be in this business."
Well, it's obviously worked wonders for her.
