Zara's Christmas party dress collection landed earlier this week and it's a smorgasbord of sequins, shimmer and unadulterated glamour, packed to the rafters with dresses and co-ords ideal for every type of Christmas party.
Today, we're turning our attention to H&M's party dress offering, which is awash with plush velvet and jacquard suiting, glittering sequinned mini dresses, dazzling rhinestones and on-trend puff sleeve gowns. Basically, extra is officially in this season.
If the glittering array of party dresses isn't enough to whet your festive sartorial palette, there's an entire holiday collection coming on December 3, which was apparently designed to allow shoppers to embrace the joy of dressing up. Here's a sneak peek at a few of the pieces below...
Speaking about the inspiration behind the soon-to-drop collection, Maria Östblom, H&M’s Head of Womenswear Design, said: “Sequins are always the easiest way to impress, and H&M has some great party dress options this season. But the holiday collection will also equip you for cosy moments: with gorgeous knitwear set against fluid dresses, evocative tartan checks and glitzy rhinestones, there are so many opportunities to express your personal style."
Accessories wise, headbands are back with a festive makeover, rhinestone drop earrings are aplenty and pearl hair slides have been designed to be worn with everything.
