Glossybox Skincare has finally landed and everything is under £22.50 - here's exactly what we thought
There are a handful of things that have made the past four months of our lives that little bit easier. Read: Friday night gins, fresh flowers to brighten our WFH desks and our monthly deliveries of beauty subscription box, Glossybox.
It's the latter treat that gets us the most excited. There's no better feeling than a Glossybox arriving at your front door every month (if you're yet to sign up, then don't waste any more time), so to say we were thrilled when they announced the launch of their very first range of skincare products would be an almighty understatement. Let's be honest: judging by the success of their beauty subscription box, it was only a matter of time before they unveiled something extraordinary. And that they have done.
Packaged in the brand's signature pastel pink hue (we'd expect nothing less), the affordable skincare range is comprised of 10 products which are purse-friendly (nothing is priced above £22.50) and which genuinely work. We'd know - 'cos we've tested them. The team spent a year sneakily collecting feedback from their loyal customers to develop a range which would meet all of their wishes and requirements. There are four cleansers, one exfoliator, two moisturisers, an eye cream, a night serum and a face mist which can be mixed and matched to suit all ages, skin concerns, types and lifestyles.

And there's more: the entire range is vegan and cruelty-free . "No nonsense; no nasties" is the tagline for the launch, and a GLAMOUR-style deep-dive into the ingredients, packaging and science behind each and every one of the products would suggest they're totally correct in their claims.
Need proof? The team ensured that they had full control over the supply chain of the range, allowing our environment to be kept at the forefront of their minds at every stage: from formulating to filling. 100% renewable electricity and zero waste-to-landfill is used at the manufacturing site which is based right here on UK soil. As are the experts who have formulated the range (it's packed with good-for-skin ingredients). As for the packaging? It's made of sugarcane, which is 100% recyclable 'til the end of its life. Impressive, huh?

Glossybox Skincare: the cleanser
Daily Micellar Gel Cleanser, £15, Glossybox
We used this cleanser as our daily cleansing option, after removing makeup. The micelles help to cleanse away dirt, oil and makeup, while the Blueberry Seed Oil works to hydrate and nourish your skin and the Cactus Stem Extract helps to soothe and moisturise your complexion. It's a really gentle option, particularly great if you have sensitive skin, and it left our face feeling super soft.

Glossybox Skincare: the cleansing cream
Deep Cleansing Cream, £15, Glossybox
This cleansing cream can be used to effectively remove makeup. It gives your skin a deeper cleanse than the daily option above, removing excess dirt and oil and leaving your skin feeling really enriched. It boasts Tsubaki Oil, Babassu Oil, Inca Inchi Oil which each help to keep skin hydrated, protected from external aggressors and your complexion glowy.

Gentle Foaming Cleanser, £15, Glossybox
The Gentle Foaming Cleanser is a fragrance-free option for sensitive skin, which removes dirt and impurities without stripping the skin of moisture.
Glossybox Skincare: the eye cream
Eye Boost Cream, £20, Glossybox
This eye cream has become a staple in our skincare routines, thanks to how cool and refreshing it feels on application. It's lightweight and absorbs into the skin impressively quickly. As for the ingredients? It contains Elderflower Extract which helps to reduce the appearance of dark circles, Eyebright Plant Extract which soothes tired, puffy eyes and Red Seaweed which creates a protective barrier that helps to lock in moisture around the eye area.

The daily moisturiser is specially formulated for oily skin. It left our skin feeling hydrated and soft, but oil levels remained at bay for the entire day.

We used this serum after using the rich moisturiser every evening, and it felt super luxurious on application - especially for the £22.50 price tag. It contains Glycolic Acid to make the skin appear more even and illuminated, Persian Silk Tree Extract which helps to reduce visible signs of fatigue and gives a brighter, more even-looking complexion, and Blueberry Oil which skin feeling hydrated and nourished.

3-in-1 Rich Moisturiser, £22.50, Glossybox
This rich moisturiser is perfect for using overnight, and has been specially formulated with dry skin in mind. It contains hyaluronic acid which is great at keeping skin looking plump and hydrated.
