It's been a pretty mega month for Diana Ross. First, performing infront of the royal family at the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, and now, about to preform infront of festival royalty at Glastonbury. The Supremes singer is set to take to the Pyramid Stage on Sunday (25 June) in the coveted teatime slot. In fact, so excited are the Worthy Farm crew to have the legend join the lineup, that they are marking her presence by organising an official flashmob. As always, the moves have been released via Glasto's official social channels, and in previous years have taught people dances to David Bowie's Starman, the Bee Gee's Staying Alive and Kylie Minogue's Spinning Around.

So, though we won't be organising an impromptu flashmob at GLAMOUR HQ, we are going to pay a homage of sorts to the Queen of Motown by looking back at her effortless, classic fashion.
The original soul diva has a style file bursting with inspiration for the trends we're currently most interested in. Whether she was styling out her glossy shoulder-length bob and matching evening dresses with The Supremes or epitomising glamour in her off-duty style, her looks around the '60s, '70s and '80s are well worth referencing.
Below, we've picked out some of the star's most iconic looks (in no particular order because we're chaotic like that) - and it was tough because basically they're all pretty incred - for whenever you're in need of some major fashion inspo.

Steve GranitzFirstly, before we hit the fashion on this one, can we just hear it for the fact that in 2012, Ross received 12 nominations and was the recipient of the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award at the 54th Annual Grammy's in LA (where this picture was taken)? Wow, wow, wow. We can't remember what we were doing in 2012 but it was probably watching the Netflix equivalent.
Anyway, onto the lewk. She actually arrived ready to receive her award in a sleek black suit with sparkling cuffs BUT later glammed up in this dramatic black ruffled gown with sheer sleeves. There's no real info on the designer but we do know that they were probably squealing with joy at the time.

Focus On SportTalk about golden girl. In 1996, Diana Ross performed in the legendary half time show at the Super Bowl. The Dallas Cowboys were playing the Pittsburgh Steelers at the Sun Devil Stadium in Arizona, and Ms Ross was playing it big time with this incredible gold cape and skin-tight purple body suit. We could never.
BTW, fun fact for you, while she sang ‘I Will Survive,’ a helicopter flew into the stadium, scooped her up and she finished the last verse as she was whisked away. Talk about high flying…
