These insane celebrity brow transformations are proof that we can rebound from overplucking
What's the cardinal sin of brow maintenance? All together now... "over-plucking" . Rumour has it that once they're gone, they'll never grow back and, judging from the sparse sections plaguing former skinny brows, there's some truth to it.
However, the good news is, there are formulas that can help to promote regrowth and tools we can add to our arsenal to make the most of the hairs we do have, to give the impression of full luscious, bountiful brows.
Just ask the celebs. They've rebounded from twiglet '90s brows and returned with a brow game as strong as the arches they're now sporting.
Some have gone the whole hog and called on master microbladers to sketch back in their missing hair strokes (luckily enough we sent our GLAMOUR team member, Bandi, to report back on the whole process, so you can find out everything you need to know, if you're interested trying it yourself). Others have simply stuck to a gently-defining tint, or acquainted themselves with the legion of game-changing brow products – which, incidentally, we've rounded up for you, too.

Trends come and go, but Gwen Stefani is proof that you can transition from shaved, drawn-on brows, to a pair that are thick and full. Even though hers looked like they'd wipe away in a rain storm, we had No Doubt (see what we did there) that she'd get them back on track. Lady Gaga demonstrates the difference between bleached blonde brows and deep, feathery arches, baby JLo's wispy brows are adorable, Sarah Jessica Parker served up brushed-up brows with 80s brushed-out hair and Winona Rider is testament to the fact that big and bushy have always been 'in'.
