How to rock bold lipstick for party season like Priyanka Chopra and the A-listers
Yes, a bold streak of striking red, vampy merlot or hot fuchsia can look sensational, upgrading your look from so-so to outstanding in one quick swipe. In practice though, a bright lip colour can end up feeling inconvenient rather than audacious. As far as confidence-boosters go, panicking about your lipstick smearing across your chin does little to improve the vibe.
Playing with bright shades, isn't without it's risk. But, if you want to make sure no colour ever slips from your lips to your sparkling white teeth, it's worth employing the trick used by top makeup artists on their celeb clients.
"After pressing your lips together, place your index finger between your lips, then slowly pulling it outwards," advises pro MUA, Cher Webb. "Any lipstick that was in danger of going near your smile will now be on your finger."
Completely fool-proof, even without a mirror.
