Kate Middleton and a pregnant Princess Beatrice lead the chicest celebrity arrivals at Wimbledon 2021
It seems that even the royal household might not be immune to that dreaded PING from the NHS Track & Trace app that's been alerting enormous swathes of the public over recent weeks that they've recently come into contact with someone who later tested positive for Coronavirus.
After making her first appearance at this year's Wimbledon championships on Friday - one of her favourite annual events - avid tennis fan the Duchess of Cambridge has been plunged into a 10-day isolation period after being alerted by a Covid contact later that afternoon.
"Last week The Duchess of Cambridge came into contact with someone who has subsequently tested positive for Covid-19," confirmed Kensington Palace in a statement. "Her Royal Highness is not experiencing any symptoms, but is following all relevant government guidelines and is self-isolating at home."
While Kate's much-anticipated appearances will be missed by both tennis fans and fans of her epic Wimbledon outfits alike, there are a number of other celebrity attendees that have been lapping up the action courtside this week. Including fellow royal Princess Beatrice, who arrived at the championships on Thursday afternoon wearing a beautiful polka-dot dress by Self-Portrait which fit and flattered her baby bump perfectly.
Of course we've all undoubtedly got our eyes glued to the game (we're proud of you, Raducanu!), but we'd be lying if we said we weren't at least a little interested in the outfits making their way to those highly sought-after seats.
While, unlike Ascot, there is no traditional dress code for Wimbledon attendees, this year sees evian - the official water sponsor for Wimbledon 2021 - requesting that guests invited into their annual VIP Suite make a conscious effort to dress sustainably.
"At evian, we are committed to sustainability - and our evian VIP suite at The Championships is no different," explained Gemma Morgan, Brand Marketing Manager at evian. "This year, we are encouraging our celebrity guests in the suite to dress ‘smart and eco-consciously’ - from re-wearing and recycling their favourite outfit, wearing a look or accessory from their favourite sustainable designer, to wearing an item made from recycled materials."

The news no doubt thrilled Kate, whose eco-conscious attitude to fashion sees her famously rewearing a number of her favourite pieces and championing conscious brands, such as Faithfull the Brand and Beulah London.
During her first, and unfortunately only, appearance courtside on Friday, the Duchess of Cambridge arrived wearing a seriously chic high fashion pleated polka dot skirt by designer Alessandra Rich which she paired with a white Mulberry bag, a navyy blazer and a classic white tee.
Other arrivals so far include Sienna Miller, Romeo Beckham and his girlfriend Mia Regan, who joined the likes of Anne-Marie, Raye and Nicola Coughlan - who made sure to recycle their favourite looks, wear pieces made from recycled materials or by sustainable designers.
