Since starting way back in 2005, Veja have created 25 styles of shoes. The label launched its V-10 trainers in 2017 which became one of Net-A-Porter’s bestselling pieces globally that very same week. A pair can be found in pretty much everyone’s wardrobes nowadays, and you can’t so much as scroll through social media without spotting several people donning them.

Its ethos has always been to stand up with one foot in design and the other in social responsibility. The goal of each of their creations is to stand the test of time and be something that people will be proud to wear now as well as in 10 years time. As well as that, a lot of Veja’s silhouettes are sustainable in some way or another - at the very least the plastic-free packaging is, with 60% of the boxes being made of recycled cardboard and the rest coming from virgin materials that are FSC certified.

Anything that’s made from leather is 100% traceable, too. The brand knows exactly where the material comes from as well as the chemicals that are in it, and works with companies that use sustainable practices to reduce the environmental impacts.
