11 fashion collaborations we're absolutely living for

Every so often there comes along a fashion collaboration - whether it be between designer and designer, designer and celebrity or otherwise - which makes you wonder why they haven't been making clothes the whole damn time.
Take Rihanna's high end jewellery collection with Chopard, Louis Vuitton's exhibit with artist Jeff Koons or Gigi Hadid's sell-out Tommy Hilfiger collection to name a few. There's also the collections we haven't see yet but have high hopes for: JW Anderson's autumn winter 2017 Uniqlo collection has fashion people super excited.
Here are our favourite fashion collaborations of 2017 so far...

Rosie H-W x Paige
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has teamed up with Paige once again for a new collection, but this time the denim is only secondary. The 'Model On Duty' collection is all about eveningwear. Rosie told us exclusively about her inspiration: "London played a big part in the backdrop to what I saw the collection as. In and out of the clubs in London, going out for drinks, and what I would want to wear for a night out."
Comprised of metallics, sequins, silks and velvet, the collection is bang on trend for autumn winter 2017. And Rosie's favourite pieces? "It's really hard. The Rona Blouse - it's a timeless silk shirt inspired by a vintage shirt I brought in. The Rosanna Velvet Duster Coat; it's such a great pieces, it's really dramatic. I'd been trying to find a velvet duster all season and I couldn't find one that I liked anywhere so we designed a really glamorous, full-length one with a burn-out detail with embellishments."

Ugg X Jeremy Scott
At first glance, the homegrown sensibilities of Ugg and the kitsch pop culture designs of Jeremy Scott might not seem like a match made in heaven, but think twice. Ugg have teamed up with Scott to create a capsule footwear collection which launches this September with prices ranging from £75 to £995. The item that's got us talking? The classic Uggs with bright orange flames.
LidlHeidi Klum for Lidl
Two of Germany's finest exports have come together in the name of fashion, and unlikely though it is as far as fashion collaborations go, we're digging it. Supermodel Heidi Klum has teamed up with supermarket chain Lidl to create a capsule collection called “Heidi & The City”. It's made up of 18 core pieces, and in true Lidl style the prices will make you smile, ranging from £6.99 to £49.99. Going on the first campaigns image they look totally chic and wearable, no?
The Heidi for Lidl range will be premiered on 7 September 2017 during New York Fashion Weekend the collection will be launched in Lidl stores on 18 September 2017.

In what is Rihanna's first high end jewellery collaboration, the singer teamed up with Chopard to create a collection of stunning jewels. The brand, which is an official partner of Cannes Film Festival, held a number of parties over the course of the festival, with Rihanna and guests wearing the collection. A girl can dream...
Louis VuittonLouis Vuitton x Jeff Koons
Jeff Koons and his collaboration with Louis Vuitton - using paintings such as Van Gogh’s A Wheatfield, with Cypresses - was one of the most random but beautiful of the year. A exhibition was held showing some of the collection including beautiful Mona Lisa bags.
SelfridgesVetements X Levi
Anything Vetements touches gets a weird spin, and that was exactly the case with their collaboration with Levi's which produced the much-talked about zip crotch jeans. Would you wear them?
Getty ImagesChrome Hearts x Bella Hadid
Bella Hadid announced news of her collection with Chrome Hearts back in December, and later the collection dropped exclusively in Selfridges. Chrome Hearts is owned by Jesse Jo Stark's mum, who is Bella's longtime best friend, so it was only a matter of time before this collab happened.
Getty ImagesVictoria Beckham for Target
Victoria Beckham's collection with Target which dropped in April was great for so many reasons including the accessible price point (prices ranged from $12 to $70 (£6‑£70 in the UK) and of course the beautiful clothes. Most of all, because it brought us this epic slogan tee which was a charity special.
IndigitalJW Anderson for Uniqlo
When word dropped in March that JW Anderson is set to be the latest designer to create a bespoke collection for Japanese global retailer Uniqlo, we were all too happy. The collection will drop from autumn/winter 2017.
The Northern Irish designer said of the collab: “Collaborations are incredibly important in design. When I think of Uniqlo, I think of things that are perfectly made, that people have spent a lot of time considering; it’s a difficult job, and I think Uniqlo does it very well. Working with Uniqlo is probably the most incredible template of democracy in fashion, and it’s nice that my designs can be accessible to anyone, on all different levels.”

Tommy x Gigi
Tommy Hilfiger x Gigi Hadid's debut autumn/winter collection was one of the best things to come out of 2016, so you can bet we were super excited for her spring/summer collection - and it didn't disappoint. Gigi showed her collection on Venice Beach in February and it was one of the most exciting shows of the season.
