The 11 best cooking gadgets that everyone needs in their kitchen
In the name of good mental health, maintaining structure during such unprecedented times has been vital. Although the way we exercise is a little different these days and meetings happen from the sofa, there is one thing we've been able to keep constant. And that’s mealtimes. In all honesty, the beginning of lockdown saw them become the highlight of my day. Not that they weren't before.
When Coronavirus began spreading, I set myself one lockdown challenge: to get better at cooking. And while I was unlikely to become the next Jamie Oliver by the time the year was over, I did start making an effort to be more adventurous with my recipes and batch cook where possible to minimise on waste.
I quickly realised that the best way to reduce stress in the kitchen (I get famously flustered) is to invest in the best kitchen gadgets which do (most of) the work for you. But since there's such an overabundance of appliances to choose from, it was hard to know which were worth my time. So, we've done the hard work for you and trialled out hundreds of products to find out which are actually worth investing in.
One of our favourite gadgets is something that'll making cooking up a Sunday roast a hell of a lot more efficient. And that's this epic electric potato peeler.
