41 best BAFTAs 2026 hair and makeup looks we can’t get enough of
Happy BAFTAs 2026 to all who celebrate! Whether you were there bumping shoulders with the film and TV elite or (like this writer), watching the awards from the comfort of your sofa, this was the next stop on the ongoing awards season marathon.
Sure, the BAFTAs 2026 winners are important – huge congrats to all of them – but we know you’re even more keen to see who shuffled down the red carpet in their finest glam. While recent red carpets have been all about quiet, sophisticated beauty, it looks like the BAFTAs 2026 might have signalled a (soft) step back towards bold looks – we did tell you after all, that maximalist beauty was coming back in a big way in 2026.
As well as the soft, blurred makeup we saw on the likes of Chase Infiniti, Teyana Taylor, Kerry Washington and Maura Higgins, we’re also obsessed with Sadie Sink’s Cloud Lips. Meanwhile, shades of blue appeared to be the breakout beauty colour – from Sinners’ Wunmi Osaku’s shimmering eyeshadow (and matching Ahluwalia dress) to AJ Odudu’s metallic chrome nail polish. Elsewhere, face-framing strands delicately hung from the heads of Emma Stone, Aimee Lou Wood and Milly Alcock.
