This new ASOS collection has your entire summer wardrobe sorted and then some

When ASOS releases a new collection, particularly during the summer months when deciding what to wear is a daily (and sweaty) task, you run. This time, the online retail giant has teamed up with Millie Court to design an exclusive ASOS DESIGN capsule line. Trust us - you’re not going to want to miss it.

Composed of more than 30 pieces and part of the brand’s ongoing partnership with the influencer, the limited edition ASOS DESIGN x Millie collection is the perfect mix of Millie’s signature style (remember how obsessed we all were with everything she donned on Love Island?) and laid-back California vibes. The campaign imagery was even shot in LA to give you all the warm-weather inspiration.

Before Millie entered the Love Island villa last year, and subsequently won the reality/dating game show with boyfriend Liam, she worked in the ASOS buying team for three years. Building on the success of her recent Style Edit, she has combined her knack for styling with her unique insider perspective of the behind-the-scenes process to bring her ideas to life.

We asked her how it felt to have a full-circle moment, returning to ASOS from the other side. “A dream come true,” Millie said. “It's been so exciting to now be involved with the end-to-end design process and I feel very grateful to have been given the opportunity to work collaboratively with so many talented people to bring my vision to life. It will be a real 'pinch me' moment to finally see people wearing pieces that I've designed.”

“I wanted to design a collection that I would want to wear, so my personal style was a big influence. When I was working on the initial mood boards, I started by looking at my wardrobe: at my favourite pieces, pieces that I liked but would rework to make them better, and at what was missing,” Millie told us. “I’ve never been one to shy away from bold looks, so bright colours and statement prints were a must for me when designing this collection. I wanted a colour palette that shouted ‘summer’, so there are lots of citrusy oranges and limes mixed with electric blues and playful pastels.”
