In today's instalment of stylish celebrity children, may we introduce Violet Affleck – the 18-year-old daughter of Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck – who just gave a masterclass in summer dressing.
Stepping out for lunch with step-mum Jennifer Lopez in Beverly Hills, Violet wore a summery ensemble of a floral print dress and pastel pink cardigan. She accessorised with chunky trainers, long white socks and a bright pink Chanel crossbody, and wore her long, wavy brunette hair in a low ponytail with a yellow scrunchie and pearl earrings.
This seems to be Violet's go-to outfit formula for summer, as she was also photographed last month in a midi floral dress (or is it a matching top and skirt?), cream cardi, calf-length socks and black trainers.
Could Violet Affleck be reviving the coquette aesthetic, the feminine fashion trend which went viral on TikTok in summer 2022, categorised by soft pastel pinks and sweet floral prints? If this easy-to-wear outfit is anything to go by, we can 100% get behind the revival.

The lunch comes amid rumours that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are heading for divorce, though neither party has publicly addressed the rumours. The couple married in July 2022 but rumours of a separation began circulating last month when it was reported that the pair have been living separately. In May, it was also revealed that J-Lo has cancelled the US leg of her This Is Me… Live tour, which was due to take place this summer, to “take time off to be with her children, family and close friends.”
