The first trailer for the new series of James Corden's Carpool Karaoke has been released and it's well and truly, EPIC!
From Will Smith directing a brass band in a traffic jam or singing I Believe I Can Fly in a helicopter (who needs a car anymore!), to Metallica being serenaded in a supermarket, the new series promises to take the much-loved brand and make it even bigger.
The new series will see the likes of Alicia Keys, John Legend, Ariana Grande, Seth MacFarlane, Chelsea Handler, Blake Shelton, Metallica, Michael Strahan, John Cena and Shaquille O’Neal buckling up for a song-filled ride-along – but this time, the twist is that they are paired up with a fellow celebrity rather than Corden (although he bagsies Will Smith for himself – and fair enough!).
Last year, it was announced that Carpool Karaoke would be made into its own series, airing exclusively on Apple Music instead of featuring on Corden's show.
While the spin-off will be produced by CBS Television Studios and Fulwell 73, the production company of The Late Late Show executive producer, Ben Winston, Corden will not be taking the wheel.
However, it looks like he does make an appearance in the new series...
