The hotly anticipated Suits reunion got a little hotter with the surprise appearance of some beloved members of the cast at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards.
Last week, the Globes announced Suits stars Gabriel Macht, who played Harvey Specter, and Patrick J. Adams, who played Mike Ross, as presenters for Sunday's ceremony. However, when the red carpet kicked off on Sunday evening, fans were treated to even more of their favorite Suits stars, including Sarah Rafferty (Donna Paulsen), Gina Torres (Jessica Pearson), and Troian Bellisario, who played Claire Bowden—a love interest of her real life husband, Adams.
The mini reunion comes after 2023's “summer of Suits," where the show saw a surge in popularity after all nine seasons began streaming on Netflix and Peacock. The long-running legal drama, which also starred Rick Hoffman (Louis Litt), and, famously, pre-Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle (Rachel Zane), aired from 2011-2019 on USA Network.
Though it was considered successful during its original run, even spawning a one-season spin-off, Pearson, in 2023, the show broke streaming records.
In an interview with Glamour US last fall, Rafferty called Suits's streaming success a complete shock. “I don't think any of us [in the cast] could believe it,” she said of the show's record-breaking viewership. “We were like, ‘Wait. Hold on. What?’”
If the sight of Harvey, Mike, and Donna together left you wanting more of a Suits reunion, you're in luck: Adams, Rafferty, Dulé Hill (Alex Williams), show creator Aaron Korsh, and more soon-to-announced guests are scheduled to appear on a panel at ATX Festival later this spring.
