The countdown for the long-awaited final instalment of the Starwars Skywalker saga is officially on!
Ahead of the film's release later this month, the cast stepped out on the red carpet last night for the film's premiere. Dressed in a stunning navy velvet Vivienne Westwood Couture gown paired with black heels, Daisy Ridley completely stole the show.
Tipped to be the standout star of the film, Daisy who plays Rey is the kick-ass feminist icon we all need in our lives. "People keep telling me they know me. No one does," she says of her fierce on-screen character Rey who can be seen slaying it in battle against Adam Driver’s Kylo.
"Endings are the thing that scare me the most," director J.J Abrams proclaimed. "But we also were very much aware this is the end of the trilogy and it needs to satisfy. We went into this thing knowing it has to be an ending. We're not screwing around."
The final trailer for the film recently dropped and it offers a sneak peek at all the action to come. To the Star Wars theme of "The saga will end. The story lives forever," the trailer gives away little information but it does give us a teaser of the ending. Oh, the suspense!

Fans of the franchise have been losing their s*** over the film’s impending release. “It’s crazy to believe that this will be the last saga film. What a incredible trailer! A lot more grand than I was expecting, and it seems as the Emperor is flat out coming back!! Defiantly hit all the feels!,” wrote one user. Others hailed the trailer “emotional” and “epic”.
