Selling Tampa has officially dropped on Netflix and guess what? We (and the rest of the world) are already hooked.
In the same style of Selling Sunset, Selling Tampa follows a new squad of realtors, but this time the focus is on a group of women of colour and their adventures in this world. Black-owned all-female Allure Realty are the focus of the show and, according to Netflix’s synopsis, it's all about how they “mix business with fun as they rule the waterfront of a hot Tampa luxury real estate market.”
And so far, it's been a hit. Bolu Babalola, the author of Love in Colour, shared her appreciation, tweeting, “The vibe in #SellingTampa is so much warmer than Selling Sunset! Even when the girls are tussling!!," while another fan wrote, “I really hope we don’t get too carried away with the drama to acknowledge something. Sharelle setup a brokerage, hired BIPOC women, brings in millions and now has a show on Netflix . That’s huge!”

Also, fans appear to be united in thinking that Rena Upshaw-Frazier pretty much deserves her own show, with one fan tweeting, “Rena definitely needs her own brokerage. She’s meant to be the boss & not just an agent,” while another added, “I’m not accepting any slander against Rena on #SellingTampa.”
