Considering the fact that Scott Disick has had two recent girlfriends who were still too young to legally drink when those relationships began, I was pretty sure that the self-appointed “Lord Disick” was going the way of Leonardo DiCaprio when it comes to dating. That is, any woman older than 24 need not apply. Turns out I may have been wrong about that, as Us Weekly is reporting that Disick is confirmed to be dating Kimberly Stewart.
An unnamed insider has confirmed to the outlet that Disick and Stewart, daughter of legendary British rocker Rod Stewart, have been “dating for a few months” and are “really into each other.” Apparently, 39-year-old Disick and 43-year-old Stewart were first introduced through her brother and have hung out in the same circles for years now. While they aren’t serious yet, they are “getting to know each other in a different way than seeing each other as friends.”

While Disick’s last two known girlfriends, Sofia Richie and Amelia Gray Hamlin, were significantly younger than him, it’s not like this is the first time he’s been romantically involved with a slightly older woman. After all, Kourtney Kardashian—famously the mother of his three children—is also 43 years old. And like Richie, who is the daughter of Lionel Richie, Stewart is also the child of a music icon. Maybe Scott Disick’s real type isn’t women who are very young, it’s women who have legendary fathers.
Or maybe I’m being incredibly unfair and Disick is just trying to find true love again after getting his heart broken on a reality television program. Godspeed, Lord Disick.
