Ah, the duality of woman! While filming the upcoming third season of And Just Like That… in New York City, Sarah Jessica Parker was photographed in two wildly different outfits. To put it mildly, one of them makes us say, “Carrie, yes!” and the other has us going, “…Carrie?”
Let’s start with this comfy but off-brand look. On set with Sarita Choudhury on Monday, Parker/Bradshaw wore the Ossie Clark “traffic light” dress from 1970, a vintage pull that Bradshaw would no doubt treasure.
It’s styled with a funky oversized sunhat from Maryam Keyhani (we know how Carrie loves a headpiece) and a purple Pierre Cardin crossbody bag. Works for a picnic or a walk around the park, even if she looks dressed for a totally different occasion than Choudry’s sleek ensemble.
But then there’s the shoes, which are Dr. Scholl’s Original sandals. For a noted stiletto lover, this seems an odd choice…
In a behind-the-scenes pic, Parker styled the ensemble with a canvas tote and her read du jour, Erik Larson’s The Demon of Unrest.
You know what? Sometimes your arches need a rest.
Moving right along to a more glamorous style, Parker in a gauzy Simone Rocha dress and coat is absolute perfection. Just watch her twirl!

“A whole new spin on the Carrie flower. we LOVE to see it” wrote one commenter on Instagram. Yes, exactly.
The outfit is styled with Aquazzura heels (there they are!) and jewellery by Marlo Laz, Heili Rocks, and Kwit jewelry. Also, in true NYC-girl style, Carrie has a bunch of stuff in one hand because she didn’t have the right purse to go with the outfit. Glove, phone, wallet, possibly a postcard? It’s a city thing.
Where is she going? The ballet? Charlotte'’s for dinner? A date?
