The 25-year-old Brit singer, whose sophomore album, The Thrill of It All, drops tomorrow(not that we've been counting down the days or anything) belted out flawless renditions of his biggest hits including 'Stay With Me', 'I'm Not the Only One' as well as new songs 'Too Good At Goodbyes' and 'Pray' alongside The Late Late Show host.

During the ride, James asked the singer if he ever got starstruck to which he responded: "I'm always confused when I meet actors. They're always huge on screen and then you meet and they're tiny." However, he did have one exception, adding: "But Ryan Gosling in person. Oh my god, I was dead. He is beautiful."

We feel ya, Sam. No one can resist the Gosling.

After gushing over Gosling, things took an even better turn as Sam's favourite girl group, Fifth Harmony, crashed the party to sing their hit (and Sam's "wedding song"),'Work From Home'. We can't decide who was more excited, Sam and the Fifth Harmony girls, but it was EPIC.
