Rihanna could be banned from performing in Malaysia because the country's hardline Muslims say her stage costumes are "too sexy". The Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party has called for authorities to refuse permits for the Rihanna's "Good Girl Gone Bad" tour, saying that the singer's revealing outfits and erotic dance moves are an insult to Asian values. But organisers of the Kuala Lumpur concert, set for 13 February, say that the singer has agreed to shun raunchy clothes. Rihanna is not the only performer criticised by Malaysian Muslims; in the past, Beyoncé was forced to cancel a concert in the country and the Pussycat Dolls were fined £2,000 in 2006 for flouting decency regulations.
