Still reeling from season 8 of Queer Eye? Good news — Queer Eye season 9 is on its way. The show has officially been renewed for a ninth season. Hosts Jonathan Van Ness, Karamo Brown, Antoni Porowski, and Tan France will be returning along with a brand new addition to the team. This season, the group will be heading to Las Vegas to transform the lives of a brand new crop of people in need of a glow-up.

Queer Eye season 9 release date
There's no news yet on when season 9 of Queer Eye will be hitting our screens — but since season 8 was only just released earlier this year, it might be a little while before the next round of make overs comes our way. There's usually about six months in between each season, so we expect to see it sometime this summer.
Queer Eye season 9 cast
This season, things will be a little different. After eight seasons, interior designer Bobby Perk has decided to step away from the show.
In an Instagram post from earlier this year, he announced his decision.

“The love that I have received from you all over the last 6 years has been absolutely surreal,” he wrote, adding, “It’s with a heavy heart that I announce that season 8 will be my final season on Queer Eye. It’s not been an easy decision to be at peace with, but a necessary one. Although my journey with Queer Eye is over, my journey with you is not. You will be seeing more of me very soon.”
Although it will certainly be sad to see Bobby go, we have a brand new interior designer to meet. New York-based designer Jeremiah Brent will join the cast in season 9. You may already know him from his appearances on shows like Netflix’s Say I Do, Home Made Simple, and The Rachel Zoe Project.
As the Netflix announcement about his casting reads, “No matter the home, Brent begins each project by developing an in-depth familiarity with his clients’ emotional lives and personal journeys before personally installing each and every space — making him a natural fit for the Queer Eye family.”
